The gods who were about to leave paused briefly upon receiving Uranus' telepathic message, but they didn't say much. They knew what to do.
"Then, my lord, I'll take my leave now. If anything comes up, you can speak directly with Loki."
Uranus had everything arranged and took his leave. The gods on site had basically all departed, leaving only Loki and Hestia.
Now, Hestia was alone. She didn't even have a Familia, so she had no responsibilities. That's exactly why she had stayed. Uranus didn't even bother giving her any orders. She could do as she pleased, as long as she didn't cause trouble.
Hearing Uranus' words, Takumi nodded. With that, Uranus vanished from sight, returning to make further preparations. Once he left, only three people remained—Loki, Hestia, and Takumi.
"Shorty, why are you still here? What are you doing hanging around?" Loki frowned upon seeing Hestia lingering. What was this oversized bundle of useless chest fat doing here?
"Can't I stay here?" Hestia snapped back, clearly annoyed. What, was she eating Loki's rice?
"Hmph! Takumi, let's go! Forget about this one. Let her stay here by herself," Loki huffed, glaring at the petite goddess.
Seeing the way the two were bickering, Takumi smiled.
"Let's all go together. This goddess here seems quite interested in me, so she might as well tag along."
Takumi didn't mind the blue ribbon girl at all. She was more like a wanderer right now. She hadn't even formed her Familia yet. Clearly, she had only recently descended from heaven. If she was curious, she might as well come along. After all, a loli goddess was kind of great, wasn't she?
Loki pouted at that but didn't argue further.
"I'm Hestia. And you?" Hestia's eyes lit up at the invitation and quickly introduced herself.
"Takumi," he replied. "I know you. In other worlds, you're quite famous too. Goddess of the hearth and family, also known as the sacred fire goddess. One of the twelve Olympian gods."
Despite her appearance, Hestia was one of the Olympians—her divine rank couldn't be underestimated. Though she wasn't as famous as Zeus, Poseidon, or Hades, her status was undeniable:
Zeus, King of the Gods
Poseidon, God of the Sea
Hades, God of the Underworld
Hera, Queen of the Gods
Demeter, Goddess of Agriculture
Athena, Goddess of Wisdom and War
Apollo, God of Light
Artemis, Goddess of the Hunt
Ares, God of War
Aphrodite, Goddess of Love
Hephaestus, God of Fire
Hestia, Goddess of the Hearth
Hermes, Messenger of the Gods
In myth, Hestia chose to live among humans and relinquished her seat among the twelve Olympians to Dionysus. Because of this, she's rarely featured in anime and stories, but that doesn't affect her standing in mythology.
Hestia blinked, surprised. "There are myths about us in other worlds too? My name has reached other worlds?"
"Isn't that obvious?" Loki butted in smugly. "I'm well-known too, you know."
Seeing Hestia's clueless expression, Loki was filled with smug pride. What a country bumpkin of a goddess! A total yokel! Her eyes were practically rolling in disdain.
Seeing Loki's attitude and noticing her mocking expression, Hestia got even more upset.
"Hmph! What's the big deal? So you know about other worlds a little earlier than I do!"
This woman was really annoying. Argh! She wanted to punch her. Just because she was a little more informed about other worlds, did she have to act so high and mighty?
Takumi watched the exchange with amusement.
"Heh~ Not only do I know about other worlds, I've even visited them, you know. And eaten food from those worlds. Have you ever done that? You country bumpkin!"
At this point, Loki's arrogance knew no bounds. Not only had she heard about other worlds, she had traveled to them! Meanwhile, Hestia was just a backwater goddess who had only just left the countryside of heaven.
Hestia was clearly frustrated.
"So what!!" she retorted. She wasn't jealous at all.
The two kept bickering, but despite the arguing, they kept moving toward Orario.
Back in Orario, the atmosphere was tense. The streets were nearly empty. Most Familia members had been called back by their gods. News of gods suddenly lifting their power seals, and the implication that something was to be announced, had caused a stir throughout the city.
Gods who had sealed their divine powers were now being told to unseal them? That could only mean something major had happened. After the divine assembly, this abrupt shift led many to speculate.
What had happened?
To stay informed, most people returned to their Familias. Only those without Familias or whose Familias had disbanded remained wandering the streets.
The members of Loki Familia had already returned to their headquarters. When Loki arrived, everyone quickly gathered around her. Seeing this, Loki waved her hand.
"Go back to your duties. Wait for Finn's orders. We have an important guest today. You, go fetch some good food."
While giving orders, she pointed someone out to go shopping. The member responded immediately, "Yes!" and rushed off.
The others, seeing this, didn't dare press further and went about their tasks.
Loki brought Takumi and Hestia into her grand residence—the living quarters of the Familia's upper echelon. Ais and other core members lived here.
"Ais-tan! Takumi's here to see you!" Loki shouted as soon as they entered.
Hearing her name, Ais looked up from her chat group distraction. Upon seeing Takumi, her eyes lit up. Others in the house also turned to look.
Everyone in Loki Familia had heard of Takumi.
