The Flügel were overflowing with curiosity about the world before them.
They had directly arrived in a new world. During the fusion of worlds, they hadn't had the chance to witness the other worlds firsthand. But now, they had been relocated entirely.
Naturally, they were filled with excitement and curiosity.
Gazing at the vastness of this world, the Flügel immediately grew excited. It seemed like a pretty good place.
Just then, their terminals simultaneously activated, starting a synchronized explanation of the new world. It briefed them on various important points and aspects of the environment they should be aware of.
As they read the information on their terminals, the Flügel became increasingly intrigued.
Prometheus had begun explaining how to receive their identification cards and introduced several major cities within the world. If they wanted to explore or play, those were the places to go.
Seeing all this, the Flügel were thrilled.
"Jibril-nyan, let's go play!"
"This world looks so fun!"
Azriel excitedly flew over and clung to Jibril.
Hearing Azriel's words, Jibril calmly brushed her off.
"No."
"I don't want to play with you!"
"I'm going by myself!"
She had no desire to be around Azriel. That one was too much of a handful. She'd rather explore alone.
At the same time, she noticed Takumi's presence.
Seeing this, Jibril flew over immediately.
The other Flügel noticed too and quickly followed after.
Besides Jibril, they all gathered around Takumi.
"New master, is this your world?"
"Is it fun, is it fun?"
"Can we battle freely here?"
"I want to fight already!!"
The Flügel swarmed Takumi, chirping excitedly.
They all wanted to explore and engage in combat—fighting was practically hardcoded into their existence.
"See that floating city over there?"
"Go inside. Your powers will be sealed there, and you'll have to fight from scratch."
"It's the perfect place for you to have fun."
"As for everything else, forget it."
"This world of mine is peaceful, so you all must follow its rules, got it?"
"And another thing—your internal energy will likely start to change soon."
"It will gradually convert to this world's unique energy form."
Takumi explained all of this to them in detail to mentally prepare them.
The Flügel were stunned.
"Energy transformation?"
Jibril concentrated and tried sensing her internal state.
Her eyes lit up.
"I can feel it."
"This energy feels advanced."
Jibril couldn't quite believe it. It seemed far more efficient than magic.
"I feel it too."
"This world's energy, huh?"
"What a strange power—nyan."
Azriel also sensed changes within herself. Energy was indeed shifting. Without careful observation, it might've gone unnoticed.
"How can we speed up the transformation?"
"If all our power converted, my strength would definitely rise further, right?"
Jibril was thrilled. She had already sensed the immense potential of Honkai energy.
If everything were converted, maybe she wouldn't need to worry about turning into a loli when her energy ran out.
Jibril really didn't like that about the Flügel—after one Divine Strike, it was lolis everywhere.
It was such an annoying flaw.
Takumi chuckled at Jibril's words.
"Want to speed it up?"
"Go fight. Or just burn through your current energy, then let it replenish naturally."
Upon hearing that, Jibril's eyes sparkled.
"Alright!"
And with that, she teleported instantly.
Moments later, her voice echoed from afar.
"Divine Strike!"
Her voice came from the distance, and in the next moment, the sea evaporated.
Brilliant light surged skyward, followed by shockwaves radiating in all directions.
Thankfully, the coastal region was uninhabited.
Otherwise, the damage to Takumi's world could've been catastrophic.
Watching the mushroom cloud rise, Takumi was speechless.
Jibril really didn't hold back. She was so eager to act.
He hurried over.
Before long, he spotted a small loli flapping her wings in exhaustion.
It was Jibril—completely drained.
Seeing her, Takumi sighed.
"Quick, catch me!"
Her cute, childish voice rang out upon seeing him.
Takumi grinned. Loli-form Jibril really was adorable.
He quickly moved forward to catch her.
"You really used up every last bit of power?"
"Seriously? You weren't worried you'd fall?"
To unleash all that power from such a height...
Glancing at the still-rising mushroom cloud, Takumi shook his head.
With a thought, he used his power to erase all the residual effects of Jibril's blast.
The raging waves instantly calmed.
Having taken care of that, Takumi vanished with Jibril in his arms.
"Azriel, the rest of you can roam freely."
"Just don't cause trouble."
"I'm taking Little Jibril with me."
Not long after he disappeared, his voice echoed in the minds of the Flügel.
They looked at each other.
Then they turned their attention to Azriel.
"What a pity—nyan."
"Little Jibril's gone loli again."
"Let's head into the city."
"No fighting—nyan!"
Azriel didn't dwell on it. She called out to the others.
They began heading toward Hope City.
Many of the Flügel were curious.
This world seemed to be linked to others.
And there was apparently lots of delicious food.
That alone piqued their interest.
Delicacies?
They wondered how tasty it all would be.
With that, the Flügel began bustling with activity.
Takumi had placed the portal on that side, which drew the attention of many deities.
Loki was the first to act, leading her Familia straight in.
Rather than staying in their old world, she wanted to develop in Takumi's.
Dungeons?
Were dungeons really more fun than the Gourmet World?
She preferred to send her Familia to the Gourmet World to become food hunters.
The food there was delicious—and could make you stronger.
What was the appeal of dungeons anyway?
