Chapter 336: Come Try a Ten-Pull Draw

Ophis nodded stiffly.

Since Takumi said there was no need to worry, she didn't.

"Do you want to come back with me?" Takumi didn't press further on the matter and instead asked Ophis.

She was holed up here all day—might as well come back. Things were lively in his world now.

But Ophis refused. "No. I don't want to go back."

She had no intention of returning. She liked staying here.

Hearing that, Takumi rolled his eyes. "There are people at home who can play with you."

Agurola, Shubi—they could all keep Ophis company.

However, no matter what Takumi said, Ophis didn't want to leave. It was baffling.

"Fine. Stay here then," Takumi said, giving up. If she didn't want to return, there wasn't much he could do.

He also sensed Ophis's current power.

Due to his own rapid growth, Ophis had also been growing stronger. Without him even realizing it, she had already become significantly more powerful.

After forming a contract with Takumi, Ophis had essentially become his companion Honkai beast. As Takumi grew stronger, so did she.

At her current level, aside from Takumi, hardly anyone in their world could rival her.

Muttering to himself, Takumi disappeared from the dimensional rift and returned home.

As soon as he arrived, he found Bronya and Kaguya-hime waiting for him.

"No new missions?" Kaguya-hime asked with a tone full of regret.

"Are you that idle?" Takumi replied. "Instead of playing games at home, all you think about is missions now?"

"I'm totally idle," she said. "Eirin has been completely taken in by your Academy. No one's paying attention to me now. And I'm kinda bored of games too. So I thought maybe I could earn some more points!"

Kaguya-hime shrugged. She really had nothing better to do.

A new mission would've been great, but alas, there wasn't one. Everyone else was busy with school, so she had no one to hang out with.

"Emm..." Takumi sighed. He wasn't surprised Eirin had been lured away by the Academy's tech. The knowledge base was constantly updating—no one could finish reading it all.

"Takumi, you still have a ton of points, right?" Kaguya's eyes gleamed with interest.

Takumi blinked. "What's up?"

He did have a lot of points—over a hundred thousand.

But the next round of power-ups would cost him millions, so he hadn't spent them.

"Gacha draws! Maybe you'll get something interesting. Of all the features in the group, the draw system is the least used. No one has points for it. But you've got spare points—why not try it out?"

She was eager to tempt him. If you've got time and points, might as well do some gacha pulls.

Out of all the features in the group chat, the draw function was probably second-to-last in terms of popularity. Barely anyone had used it.

The only thing worse was the ultra-large transfer talisman, which could move an entire city across worlds. No one had ever bought one. Most people didn't even buy regular transfer talismans anymore—just ask someone to send you.

The best-selling items in the group were healing and enhancement kits. Especially enhancements—they made you stronger instantly.

But most people could only afford one or two buys before running out of points.

Takumi was speechless. "Gacha draws? I don't really need anything. Most of the stuff I drew before wasn't useful. It didn't help much. Spending points on that feels like a waste."

"Ten-pulls guarantee gold! You're not gonna get anything from single pulls. Just try it! Be the first brave one!"

Kaguya-hime kept encouraging him. Got spare points? Do a ten-pull.

Didn't he know about the guaranteed drop after ten draws? Single pulls rarely yielded anything.

"No! I pulled something amazing from a single draw when I joined the group!"

Nonsense! That miracle single pull was how he got his powers!

"But I still want to see what happens with a ten-pull. Each draw is like a world transfer talisman—surely something good will drop with ten. No one has ever had enough points to try it. You'd be setting the example. Who knows? Might be a surprise in store! If I had points, I'd try it too!"

Kaguya chattered nonstop.

In short, she just wanted Takumi to do a ten-pull.

Just like some gamers, watching someone else sit on a ten-pull was unbearable—they'd egg you on just to see what would come out.

It's not their account, after all. If something good drops, "Wow, my luck is amazing!" If not, "Your account has garbage luck."

Takumi could already picture her smug face.

"No points! Not doing it," he replied bluntly.

He was saving those points for future enhancements.

"I'll give you some—just try a ten-pull. Maybe crowdsource the rest?"

That's when Bronya spoke up.

She was curious too. So why not... test it out?

If Takumi didn't want to spend his own points, they could at least pool enough for a ten-pull.

Kaguya's eyes sparkled. "I'm in!"

She dove into the group chat.

Bronya's suggestion was brilliant.

Takumi stared at the two, especially Bronya.

What were you getting involved for?

Noticing his look, Bronya said, "I have a feeling—if we do a ten-pull, something good will happen. So let's try it."

She sounded so sincere.

Takumi was stunned. "Are you serious? That's just like gamblers who say, 'I feel lucky today.'"

He couldn't help but mock her.

What kind of logic was that?

But now, Kaguya was already shouting in the group.

And it seemed like quite a few people were interested in joining in...
