Chapter 397: Cuteness Is Justice

Takumi looked at the two girls, and his face immediately lit up with a bright smile.

Yaoyao ran up to him and cheerfully greeted him, then eagerly introduced Klee.

"I know Klee already. But little Klee doesn't know me," Takumi said.

Hearing that, Klee blinked in surprise. "Eh? Big brother knows me?"

Klee was a bit shocked. She hadn't expected Takumi to know who she was.

"Of course I know. You're the Spark Knight of Mondstadt, and also Mondstadt's strongest combat power," Takumi said with a smile.

Klee was dumbfounded. Mondstadt's strongest combat power? Was he really talking about her? She was in shock!

"Come, let's all eat together," Takumi invited warmly. "This is Fran, and you will all become good friends."

Takumi introduced Fran as he invited the girls to the table. Hearing his introduction, Yaoyao and the others turned their attention to Fran. Seeing that she was about their size, their eyes lit up.

They quickly began introducing themselves.

"Hello! I'm Klee. Let's be friends! We can go blow up some fish later!"

Klee had a very good impression of Fran. After all, they were both blonde lolis.

Fran also took a liking to Klee. Klee's charm was no joke.

The two quickly hit it off. Soon, the girls were chattering away about all sorts of fun things.

Before long, Klee brought up her beloved Dodoco. She wanted to make one that could move on its own, so she'd been working hard lately, learning all sorts of mechanics and contraption-related knowledge.

Likewise, Yaoyao also wanted to upgrade her Moon Laurel.

Listening to them, Takumi couldn't help but say, "After we eat, I'll help you both out."

The two girls paused for a moment before their eyes lit up.

"Takumi-gege, you know how to do this?" Klee was excited. Did big brother Takumi really know how to do this?

"Of course I do. So I'll help you after dinner. Now, eat up."

He was joking, but also not. How could he not know this?

Hearing that, Klee and Yaoyao immediately nodded and sat down to eat.

Perhaps because they were excited about the idea of their dolls talking soon, the girls ate very quickly. They finished their food in no time, even before Xiangling's other dishes were served.

Takumi found the sight amusing, but said nothing.

After they were full, he took them away.

"Come, I'm taking you to the Academy."

With that, Takumi opened a spatial rift. The girls quickly followed.

Under Takumi's lead, they arrived at the Academy.

"Wow! This place is amazing!"

Klee was in awe the moment she arrived, seeing spaceships taking off.

Her eyes widened. This place was really that incredible? Was it some kind of important base?

"Of course it's amazing. Many things are developed here. Let me introduce you to some older sisters. They're really skilled in mechanics."

Saying that, Takumi led them to where Velvie was.

Surely, Velvie would love these little girls. After all, who could resist such adorable little ones?

Cuteness is justice.

The girls followed behind Takumi, looking all around curiously. Everything here fascinated them.

As Takumi brought them to Velvie's lab, she immediately approached.

"Where did you pick up these kids from? Are you giving them to me to raise?"

Her eyes sparkled as she looked at Klee and the others.

Being stared at like that, the girls were frightened and hid behind Takumi.

Takumi was speechless. "Don't mess around. If you want to raise someone, go talk to Aponia. Just help them out. These two have been saying they want to modify their dolls so they can move and talk."

He pushed Klee and Yaoyao forward.

Klee immediately held up her Dodoco, and Yaoyao did the same with her Moon Laurel.

Seeing the dolls, Velvie froze.

"Big sister, can you help us?" Klee asked innocently.

She didn't really understand why Takumi wasn't doing it himself. Didn't he just say he could do it?

But that didn't stop her from taking out her Dodoco. Since Takumi-gege said this person could help, it had to be true.

"Okay, okay! No problem! Leave it to me. Now tell me what kind of doll you want."

Looking at the adorable pair, Velvie was overjoyed. Without hesitation, she agreed.

Making two mechanical dolls? For Velvie, that was a walk in the park.

She immediately pulled Klee and Yaoyao away to begin work on their dream dolls.

Meanwhile, Takumi took Fran and Qiqi to another area of the Academy.

"Let's go. We'll come back later. Qiqi, I'll take you to Mobius for a check-up. After that, I'll help you regain your normal human appearance."

He gently took Qiqi's hand and started walking.

Her hand was cold—completely without warmth. After all, Qiqi was a zombie.

Hearing what Takumi said, Qiqi was stunned.

"Qiqi... can be cured?"

Her tone held some curiosity. Could she really return to normal?

"Of course. But first, we need to examine your condition. With your current state, she'll definitely be curious."

There were already vampires.

But Takumi hadn't really come across zombies like this before. A being that existed between life and death.

Mobius loved collecting genetic samples from other races.

Someone like Qiqi would definitely pique her interest.

Hearing this, Qiqi nodded. "Thank you. How much does it cost?"

If treatment was possible, wouldn't it be expensive?

"You don't need to pay," Takumi replied, amused. He glanced at the girl.

Why would he charge her? The entire world belonged to her anyway.

Helping her was nothing.

And so, Takumi brought Qiqi and Fran to Mobius' lab.

When Mobius saw Takumi, her face filled with question marks.

"Why are you here again?"

She was clearly a bit annoyed. Why did this guy keep showing up? Didn't he have anything better to do?

And he brought that vampire loli too?

Thinking of this, Mobius looked over at Fran. She already knew Fran's situation.

Was Takumi here to treat her?

That couldn't be right. If it was just treatment, Takumi could do it himself—probably even better than her.
