"Arianna, let's go!" a voice yelled.

"Looks like I'm out, Melly... See you after the weekend. In fact, we would have gone together in my mother's car, but unfortunately, you live far from me. Either way, I'll trust your family to come for you. See ya!"

Mel smiled and waved her friend goodbye...

She was waiting. She had talked to Arianna for so long that she forgot to call her family. She called her mother.

"Mom, can you pick me up from school? It's getting late."

"Where is your brother?! I'm coming there now, and I need to have a serious conversation with that young man."

It's been 20 minutes since she called. Her hospital is a bit away from my school, but I'm more worried about traffic than the actual travel time.

"Melly," a voice called, "Do you want to come inside and wait?"

It's my history teacher. Why is she still here? I mean, yeah, I'm coming.

She and her history teacher began talking inside...

Until her mother finally rang her phone. "I'm so sorry, Melly. Traffic is the worst. I'm sure that you understand."

"Sure. I'm in the school talking to my history teacher. How far away are you from the school?"

"Mel, just a couple of blocks away. You can come out."

Her mother had finally picked her up, and she was a little stress-relieved. Mel always did meditation, so she was always very calm. Mel always wanted to get all her family to practice meditation but never had gotten through. The same with getting her family outdoors. There are so many things that she wanted her family to do.
