Chapter 6

It has been a week since Yejun's confession to Sarang. Sarang has been diligently going to training sessions over the past week to train with trainees around her age. As usual making friends is hard and awkward for her. It's not that she feels uncomfortable, but she feels like she is the one making the atmosphere awkward when she enters the training room. She wanted to make friends, but she does not know how. In this department she is most thankful with Yejun.

Sarang thought it will be awkward to interact with Yejun after the public confession, but Yejun made her feel welcome. He was her bridge to communicate with other people her age. Sarang was very appreciative at how Yejun is handling his feelings. He was very lowkey in showing his infatuation with Sarang. He does not disturb Sarang when she is working with the trainees and giving them pieces of advice in acting. He waits until all work is done, and he gives her a strawberry milk.

In just seven days, Sarang felt comfortable with Yejun which is actually a miracle because she never felt comfortable with anyone except Jin Woo and Mina. Both Sarang and Yejun does not have a personal cellphone yet thus they could not communicate through text or call that is why Yejun would make sure to match his breaks to Sarang so he can eat with her.

Just like now, he knows Sarang is done with her morning session and is getting ready to eat lunch.

"Hi Sarang, are you on your way to eat?" Yejun asked sporting his biggest smile.

"Yes, want to eat together?" answered Sarang.

"You are always asking me to eat together. Don't you have any friends?" asked Sarang jokingly.

"Funny hearing that from you!" said Yejun while laughing.

"You know you're my only friend, right?" pouted Sarang.

"Sorry sorry. You know I'm putting lots of effort to have you be friends with the others, right?"

"Yeeees. I know, sorry for wasting your efforts hmph!"

"You know you look so cute pouting like that." Said Yejun still laughing.

"You said you like me but why do you tease me so much!"

"Because you're cute when you get irritated lol."

"Urgh. Let's just eat!"

Yejun and Sarang entered the cafeteria in high spirits. They chose their food and sat down on a vacant table and bench.

"Are you sure you are going to be full of just that? You only five spoonsful yesterday as well." Yejun asked with a worried face.

"My mom said I was getting fat and told me to cut down on food. I don't want her to get angry again." Sarang said looking down on her small portion of food.

Yejun noticed the fear in her voice and stopped asking.

"I suddenly craved strawberry ice cream." Sarang said while playing with her food.

"Want to get some outside? My mom gave me spending allowance. One scoop will not make you gain weight." Asked Yejun. Sarang's face instantly brightened with excitement.

"Really! You're going to buy me strawberry ice cream? Can you buy the B-brand? I really love their strawberry ice cream!" Sarang's ice widened so much she looked like a cute puppy.

Cute. Really cute. Yejun thought to himself.

"You really like strawberry ice cream that much? There is B-brand ice cream 10 minutes from here. Make sure to wear a mask and cap later, ok? I don't want people mobbing you. I will get in trouble with Pres if that happens."

"You know sometimes I wonder if we really are the same age. You act older than me sometimes."

"Then should you call me oppa?" teased Yejun.

Sarang groaned to his audacity and face palmed while hearing Yejun's laugh.

Yejun and Sarang was able to successfully buy ice cream. Strawberry for Sarang and Vanilla for Yejun. They went back to the company happily. They were at the 1st floor lobby when they saw President and Sarang's dad talking.

"Dad!"

"Sarang! You're here?"

"Yes, Yejun and I went out for ice cream." Sarang was smiling so brightly that her dad almost burst into tears. He cannot remember the last time Sarang genuinely smiled. Imagine a child, a teen who could not even genuinely smile are people. That was Sarang three years after becoming an actress.

"You must be Yejun. You know Sarang is always talking about you when I pick her up." Mr. Oh greeted Yejun enthusiastically. He knows that he is the reason why Sarang has been happy these past few days, and he is thankful for the teen.

"Hello Mr. Oh. I just hope Sarang is not saying anything weird." Said Yejun nervously.

"Like how you confessed your feelings in the trainee room." Teased Mr. Oh.

The president bellowed a loud laugh making Yejun blush. "Aaaah young love." Teased the president even more as he and Mr. Oh laughed more.

Sarang is not even paying attention to the three guys as she is enjoying her cup of strawberry ice cream. "Ah dad why are you here early? Do I have schedules now?"

"Oh no, your schedule will start in a few weeks. I am just coordinating with Mr. President your new manager who will handle you from now on."

Sarang's eyes widened. "Mom will not be my manager?" asked Sarang with great curiosity.

"No Sarang. Your dad and I decided it is better that your mother will not be involved in your career. Your dad can't be your manager as he is away from time to time to due to his work."

"Are you fine with this Sarang? I was going to ask you at home, but I can hear your opinion now."

"Can we really decide without mom?" Sarang asked, still with her eyes wide and looking for answers.

"Yes of course dear. Or would you rather have mom be your manager again?" Asked her dad.

"N-no, no! Sorry dad, I just don't want mom to get angry again."

"Not to worry dear, I have already talked with your mother about this."

"Oh! Thank you dad. Yes, I would like to have another manager please!"

"How about your share a manager with Yejun?" suggested Jin Woo.

"You and Yejun have planned projects this year. You can test out first Sarang and get a feel if you are comfortable with Yejun's manager."

"Me and Sarang will have projects together?" Yejun asked in a daze.

"Your schedule will be discussed with parents Yejun."

Sarang looked at Yejun with pleading eyes as if asking Yejun if it is ok to share a manager. Yejun was quick to decipher her look.

"Sarang we can share Soohyuk-hyung as a manager if you want." Yejun said with a smile.

With the permission of Yejun, Sarang looked her dad for confirmation.

"Ok, we will test out Soohyuk as her manager first." Said Sarang's dad to Jin Woo.

"Now that was fast. Thank you for your confirmation, I will meet Soohyuk tomorrow to finalize everything and will let you know once everything is in place."

And this marked how Sarang and Yejun got even closer to each other.
