The night air was cool as Rena and Jin stepped out of the karaoke lounge, the low hum of city lights buzzing faintly around them. The soft clicking of Rena's heels echoed down the marble path that cut through the garden just outside the academy's entertainment district. Her cheeks were still flushed, a warm crimson that refused to fade.
"Listen," she said in a hushed, sharp voice, not meeting his eyes. "You are not to tell anyone what happened in that room. Do you understand me?"
She glanced at him from the corner of her golden eyes — those fierce, luminous eyes — her fiery red hair tied back with Estelle's ribbon in a high ponytail, swaying behind her like the tail of a flame. She was trying to sound strict, but her voice trembled slightly. Her body still remembered. Her skin still tingled. And the embarrassing truth beneath her skirt — the damp heat pressed against the lace — reminded her of how far she'd nearly gone.
Jin, walking beside her with his hands deep in his coat pockets, turned his head slightly. That usual half-smirk tugged at the corner of his lips, and his crimson eyes shimmered with teasing mischief.
"Of course, my love," he said in a cool, velvet voice. "Your secret is safe with me. I won't breathe a word about how you lost control over one little kiss… how you practically begged for your wedding night on a karaoke couch."
Rena froze mid-step. Her face turned scarlet, and her fists clenched at her sides. Damn him. Her thoughts raced.
> Why is he always like this? Why does his voice do that to me? Why do I feel like my heart's about to explode?
"I did not beg!" she snapped, her voice a pitch too high. "And it wasn't just one kiss, you jerk!"
Jin chuckled softly, then took a few slow steps toward her. "Then what was it?" he asked, lowering his voice. "Because I'm fairly certain you were ready to—"
"Shut up!" she hissed, her eyes wide. She looked around quickly to make sure no one was near. "That was just… I wasn't thinking. I got caught up in the moment. And—"
She stopped, swallowing hard. The feeling of his lips. His hands against her waist. The weight of him above her as she pulled him close and whispered things she never thought she'd say. Her underwear was still damp, clinging to her — a humiliating reminder of her loss of control.
Jin tilted his head, pretending to think. "Say, Rina… what color are your panties today?"
Her jaw dropped. "Y-You pervert!" she shouted.
But the way he looked at her, the amusement in his crimson gaze, only made her feel more exposed — more seen.
Then she smiled. A wicked, golden-eyed smile. Two could play this game.
"Maybe they're black lace," she said, voice like silk. "With a hint of pink. Just enough to drive someone like you crazy."
Jin blinked once, then laughed — low and genuine. "That's… very specific," he murmured, taking a step closer. "Are you offering a peek?"
She jumped back. "Don't even try!"
"You started it."
"You're the one who asked! And anyway, you're the pervert, not me!"
He raised a brow. "Oh really? I'm not the one who was whispering 'please' into my ear twenty minutes ago."
"Shut up!" she shrieked, face beet red again. She ran up to him and pounded her fists weakly against his chest. "Yes, fine! I asked for it! Are you happy now, you smug, arrogant bastard?!"
His arms came around her quickly, pulling her close. In one swift movement, he kissed her — not gently, not softly — but deep and possessive. Her breath hitched, her legs trembled. She clutched his coat, unable to resist. Her anger melted into heat.
When they finally parted, she stared up at him, lips parted, breath shaky.
"You know," she whispered, brushing her finger along his jaw, "the worst part isn't that I almost did it…"
Jin tilted his head. "No?"
She leaned in again, her voice sultry now. "It's that once I taste something I like…" She bit his lower lip playfully, then sucked it in between hers, pulling before letting go. "…I get addicted."
His eyes darkened with hunger.
Then — without warning — she bit into the side of his neck, not enough to hurt, but enough to leave a mark. She left her lips there, whispering with fierce possession:
"You belong to me. Got it?"
Jin chuckled, holding her tighter. "Loud and clear."
She straightened her blouse, breathing in deep. "We should head back. I'm sure your mother is already planning a war for us being late."
With a flick of his wrist and a surge of violet mana, Jin opened a glowing portal — the shimmering sigil of the Moon God Uranos pulsating at its center.
"After you, my lady," he said with a sarcastic smile
She smirked. "Try not to stare at my ass on the way through."
"No promises."
They both stepped into the portal, the world around them folding into arcane light.
