Fall

Aiden still had some impression of what it felt like to travel through time for the first time: At that time, he just moved the mouse and clicked the "Go" option on a webpage, and then he felt a burst of dizziness, and then he fell into a coma. When he woke up, he was already in the Emerald Dream. It can be regarded as a painless time travel with full anesthesia.

Perhaps he didn't feel good when he was in a coma, but after all, he had already lost consciousness at that time. But this time was different. When Aman'Thul's power beyond time and space descended, Aiden felt his whole body being torn apart by the tyrannical power of time and space, like the cruel torture of being torn apart by five horses in ancient times. He desperately wanted to fall into a coma, but he was always tormented by the pain and was extremely awake.

He felt like he was plasticine, being stretched infinitely for a while, then compressed infinitely for a while, then twisted into a ball for a while, and then into strands... The feeling was terrible. Aiden didn't know whether this was the real situation or a hallucination caused by the time-space travel. Anyway, he had seen his body as flat as paper, and he had also seen the back of his heart from a strange angle.

In order to divert this pain, he forced his spirit to try to enter the Heart of Valoran. According to past experience, he couldn't feel the outside world in it. Fortunately, after concentrating his mind, this method worked. He came to the summoning space of the Heart of Valoran once again, and the pain of his body could no longer affect him.

What he didn't expect was that there was still a big surprise waiting for him here—he "saw" a very exaggerated scene: the images of the Void heroes were shining dazzlingly. That was the scene that appeared when using a carrier to summon.

Voidreaver—Kha'Zix;

The Terror of the Void—Cho'Gath;

Mouth of the Abyss—Kog'Maw;

The Eye of the Void—Vel'Koz;

Prophet of the Void—Malzahar!

The images of these heroes all began to shine.

In addition, there was Xerath, the Magus Ascendant. Perhaps the primal arcane energy in the Twisting Nether attracted him, and the image of this arcane creature was also shining.

There was also a hero Aiden didn't recognize, named Bard, the Wandering Caretaker. His image was also flashing with summonable light. But Aiden had never heard of such a hero—is there such a hero in League of Legends? But judging from the name, he seems to be very strong.

He didn't have time to think too much. Anyway, he didn't invest anything, and almost got this summoning opportunity for free. Moreover, these guys can survive in the Twisting Nether. No matter so much, opportunity knocks but once, summon them out first!

He conveyed his thoughts to the phantoms of these heroes, and then began the summoning.

Kha'Zix, Cho'Gath, Kog'Maw, Vel'Koz, Malzahar, Xerath, they were summoned one by one. However, when Aiden was about to summon that Bard, the Wandering Caretaker whom he didn't know, he found that the other party's avatar had dimmed.

These heroes summoned by him were not affected by Aman'Thul's divine power. They scattered and quickly gathered together relying on their respective senses. And Aiden continued to be taken by the power of time and space in an unknown direction.

Malzahar said: "Summoner seems to be in some trouble." However, his tone didn't show any worry or anxiety.

Kha'Zix sharpened his claws, "But we can't help much."

"Is this the Twisting Nether? I like this place a little bit. I see wild arcane energy!" On Xerath's body, arcane energy surged violently, like his current mood, shaking the chains on his body.

"What should we do?" Vel'Koz asked.

Cho'Gath made a sound similar to chewing something and said: "According to the commander's instructions, go find trouble with the Burning Legion!"

"And strengthen our strength by the way." Kha'Zix showed his blue-purple claws. He felt very fragile and hungry now, just like when he first arrived in Valoran. But now that there is no restraint from the League of Legends, he will be able to freely obtain abilities. This is definitely great news!

"This 'by the way' is your main purpose, right, Kha'Zix?" Cho'Gath taunted.

"That's right, I'm going to hunt! The genes of the new species here will definitely help me evolve again!"

"I also want to taste the taste of demons." Cho'Gath showed his sharp teeth.

"I'd like to study the special features of these demons. I'm very interested in them!"

"Then let's go! Let's go!"

A group of strange-shaped creatures made a happy decision in this way.

However, just when Aiden summoned them, Aman'Thul, the Father of the Pantheon far away in the Pantheon, suddenly felt a burst of dizziness. He shook his body and leaned on his staff to avoid falling down.

"What's wrong, Aman'Thul?" His wife, Eonar, the Life-Binder, noticed his abnormality.

"It's nothing, I'm just a little uncomfortable," Aman'Thul replied.

But for the Titans, "uncomfortable" is the biggest anomaly. Because their metal bodies never get sick or age. The birth, aging, sickness, and death of mortals never bother this immortal and powerful race.

Eonar wanted to ask more questions, but she knew her husband's personality. Her heart was full of doubts, what could affect Aman'Thul, the most powerful being in the universe?

"It's not good!" A cultist ran into the core area panting, bringing the leaders here a piece of news that couldn't be worse, "The people of the Alliance, they are riding griffons and breaking into the Abomination Quarter! Our people can't stop them!"

"What!" Faerlina exclaimed in shock, "You said they broke in?"

"Yes, they just broke into the Abomination Quarter! There are many paladins, high elves, and many powerful heroes!" The cultist was so panicked that he was incoherent.

"Quick, we must stop them!" Thaddius shouted, "Otherwise we will all be finished!"

"Patchwerk go and play with them!" This belligerent abomination immediately rushed out first.

"Let's go too, otherwise there will be no chance."

The entire Naxxramas has more than 50,000 Scourge warriors. But in front of this elite team that broke into it, they completely failed to exert their numerical advantage.

Mograine wielded the Ashbringer and unleashed his divine power in the enemy ranks. In just a few minutes of breaking in, hundreds of undead had been burned to ashes by the holy fire on the sword.

Angel Pamyel's record was no less impressive than his. Since Kayle accepted the power of the naaru, she and Ophiel have also been allowed to use such power. This has greatly increased their strength. Pamyel's current strength is already relatively close to the height before Kayle accepted the naaru. If it were a one-on-one fight, Mograine might not even be her opponent.

Other heroes also performed very well. Especially Anna, Krasus, and Kael'thas, the three archmages always released large-scale spells that killed undead with a wave of their hands, destroying countless Scourge.

Falstad left some of the griffon riders to patrol near the breach they broke through, protecting everyone's retreat. And he himself followed the Screaming Serpent's air force to attack other parts of Naxxramas.

"Greetings, King!" Corki flew past Falstad in a helicopter and saluted him.

"I heard you're an ace pilot!" Falstad also saw the yordle in the helicopter cockpit clearly. The dwarven king shouted boldly, "Let's see who can cause more damage to this fortress!"

"No problem!" Corki accepted the challenge.

"Start now!" Falstad patted the griffon under him. It immediately understood its master's meaning, made a turn in the air, and carried him to a gap blasted out by the third artillery. When he got close, Falstad waved his hand and threw his Stormhammer. "Boom", the hammer head hit the crack next to the gap, collapsing the nearby wall. Those Scourge who were still trying to repair the breach were crushed in the ruins.

The Stormhammer flew back into his hand again. Falstad looked at his results with satisfaction. Then he turned his head to look at Corki and found that the ace pilot swooped down from the air and fired two missiles in a row. After the explosion, this gap was comparable to the big hole that the assault team had entered before.

Corki gave a "one" to indicate that he was one point ahead.

Falstad shouted: "Continue!" His Stormhammer can be used almost infinitely, but Corki's missiles will always run out!

The two air combat heroes began to look for the next target.

The Abomination leader Patchwerk, Grobbulus, and the spider monster Maexxna were the first to arrive on the battlefield.

Upon seeing living beings, Patchwerk immediately charged forward, uttering strange and unpleasant sounds: "I am Patchwerk, the War God of the Scourge!"

"A big fellow," Anna remarked as Patchwerk charged, waving her staff to unleash a burst of frost, freezing the abomination in place.

"Unfortunately, too clumsy," Kael'thas retorted, launching a fiery blast that struck the abomination's abdomen, further obliterating its already mangled flesh.

"Patchwerk wants to play with you!" the Abomination leader bellowed. He hurled his iron hook towards Archmage Modera's position, but she easily evaded it with a Blink.

Angel Pamyel descended from the sky like lightning, plunging her holy flame-engulfed magic sword into the giant's neck. The decaying flesh emitted a "sizzling" sound, quickly turning to ashes.

"Patchwerk... failed..." The abomination futilely flailed the weapons on its three arms before collapsing with a thunderous crash.

Pamyel withdrew her sword and immediately charged towards another Abomination leader, not even sparing a glance at the large, fallen corpse.

"Truly, easily defeated," Lux commented, having prepared a spell that she didn't even need to cast before the creature fell.

The strength of these heroes was simply too overwhelming. Without a true powerhouse to hold the line, the ordinary Scourge commanders here were powerless against these raiders. Grobbulus also quickly fell under the onslaught of Mograine, Pamyel, and Krasus. The spider monster Maexxna barely held out for a moment under the attacks of Bron and others, but upon realizing that more heroes were turning their attention towards it, the cunning spider immediately fled.

It ran straight into the path of the harvester, Gothik, who questioned it: "Why are you running, Maexxna!"

"Can't win, retreat!" Maexxna didn't even dare to linger, its long spider legs stepping over Gothik, leaving him behind.

The putrid Heigan the Unclean was also arriving, glaring at the spider monster as he asked: "Where are the other two, Patchwerk and Grobbulus?"

"Dead!" Maexxna replied while continuing to flee, "These people are very strong! Send in the cannon fodder! We're just going to die if we go!"

It was spreading the word of the Alliance raiders' strength to the Scourge leaders. They quickly discovered that Patchwerk and Grobbulus hadn't even lasted a minute before being killed, a fact that certainly didn't inspire them to put up a determined resistance.

Loatheb, the third Scourge scholar to arrive, hurriedly said: "It's right, we shouldn't go and die for nothing! Send in the ordinary Scourge! We only need to hold out for another half hour!"

Faerlina grabbed Loatheb's arm, asking in a shrill voice: "What if they destroy our fortress?!"

"I'd rather fall to my death than be killed by them! Let go, let go!" Loatheb forcefully yanked the woman's hand away, angrily stating, "If you want to go and die, go with your lover, no one will stop you!"

Faerlina watched as these fellows scrambled to escape to the upper core area, with Maexxna, who had fled first, already out of sight. She stood there dumbfounded, feeling that these guys were simply disgracing the name of the "Scourge!"

The Plaguebringer Noth quickly pulled her along, urgently saying: "My dear, there's no use in us staying here. Let's quickly retreat too!"

Since things had come to this, even if Faerlina was unwilling, she had no choice but to flee back to the upper core area with them.

Naxxramas' lower levels were divided into four quarters: the Abomination Quarter, the Death Knight Quarter, the Spider Quarter, and the Plague Quarter. The outer edges of the four areas were connected by corridors to form a whole.

The Alliance's raiding force had broken through from a corner of the Abomination Quarter and advanced all the way towards the central area. After Maexxna's fleeing behavior influenced all the remaining Scourge leaders, Kael'thas and the others discovered that there were no more major threats. Only a large number of ordinary undead swarmed towards them, but this couldn't stop their advance at all.

"This should be the place," They stopped at the central crossroads of Naxxramas. The warriors formed defensive formations on the spot, blocking the Scourge soldiers from other directions.

From the start of the operation until now, they had only spent a little over ten minutes. It was almost a complete steamroll. The raid operation had been very smooth so far, and the warriors hadn't encountered any real danger.

"This should be the connection point."

"Then let's choose here!"

Kassadin retrieved a pile of Hextech explosives from the void, stacking them in the middle of the corridor. "Destroy the passages to the other three directions," he instructed.

"No problem!" The mages cast spells, collapsing or completely freezing the corridors leading to the other three directions.

"Alright, you guys retreat first, I'll leave last." The task of igniting the explosives naturally fell on Kassadin. He had the ability to Void Walk, allowing him to safely evacuate at the last moment.

The other heroes didn't decline. After saying their farewells, they quickly retreated along the original path. Once they boarded the Gryphons, Kassadin would detonate the explosives here. Then, this Scourge fortress would fall from the sky.

On the Skybreaker, the Skyfire Cannon had just finished reloading. Ziggs was about to order the firing when a green signal flare rose from the direction of Naxxramas. He immediately shouted: "Stop firing!"

This was the signal flare indicating that the raid force had succeeded and was retreating. Firing at this time would be very likely to injure the allies.

"It's about to explode! Haha, faster, faster, faster!" Ziggs ran to the ship's railing, his eyes fixed on Naxxramas, waiting for it to ascend to the heavens in the explosives he had created. This was the scene he loved to see the most.

Corki's helicopter squadron was escorting the Gryphon riders. Falstad's Gryphon caught up, and the Dwarf King greeted him: "What's the score?"

"Tie, fifty-fifty!" Corki happily replied.

"Haha, I like this result! I'll buy you a drink after the battle! We'll continue to compete next time!"

"No problem, I'm always ready!"

The Gryphon riders transported the warriors of the raid force one by one, flying towards Dalaran. A burst of applause erupted from the city, as people welcomed the return of the heroes.

However, when everyone had safely returned, they still hadn't seen Naxxramas explode.

"What's going on, did something happen?" Antonidas frowned. They could already see the walls of Zul'Aman.

Could it be... Kassadin wants to drop it on the Troll city?

"There shouldn't be any accidents," Swain said, gazing at the forest troll city in the mountains. "I understand Kassadin, he won't take risks without certainty. It seems he wants to give the trolls a gift."

Everyone waited patiently. The waiting time always seemed long. When the Scourge leaders in the core area saw Naxxramas flying over Zul'Aman, thinking they had escaped, they suddenly felt a shock ten times stronger than the Skyfire Cannon's blast beneath their feet. Kassadin, having confirmed the fortress had entered the troll city, finally ignited the fuse. The explosives buried in the lower crossroads finally detonated.

Naxxramas' power systems were completely destroyed. It staggered like a drunkard, and finally plunged headfirst into Zul'Aman.

A violent roar erupted near the point of impact, with dust and rocks being thrown hundreds of meters into the air, spreading in all directions, obscuring the scene.

However, it could be imagined that Naxxramas, having fallen from a height of hundreds of meters, must be in an extremely miserable state. Probably not many of the tens of thousands of undead inside could have survived the collapse of this fortress.

The whole of Dalaran was in a frenzy. Everyone was cheering and celebrating. Naxxramas, the floating fortress that had brought disaster to Gilneas and fear to the Alliance, had finally met its end!

A void gate opened, and Kassadin appeared in Dalaran. He was greeted by a round of applause and thumbs up from the heroes.

This was the return of a hero!
