The world was once normal. Until it wasn’t.



Without warning, enormous creatures emerged—some towering over 15 meters tall, others small but just as deadly. They weren’t simple beasts; they were known as Echo Entities, manifestations created by the universe itself to correct an error.



When killed, they leave behind a spirit. Some humans absorb these spirits and gain powers; others are chosen by spirits at birth, fated to fight. This is how the system works… for most.



Kael was different.



Born into a noble family, his life collapsed when they were betrayed and fell into ruin. At just three years old, Kael was forced into a life of poverty, surviving in underground tournaments for a few coins. Worse, he was born without a spirit—something that should be impossible. In a world where souls are chosen the moment they form, Kael had nothing.



But that wasn’t the truth.



Kael did have a spirit—one that never should have existed. A cosmic mistake. A discarded fragment of what could have been a god. That spirit, now malformed and cloaked in shadows, lives inside him: Nullar, a being forged from tragedy, from rage, and from an unbearable loss.



And Kael? His existence wasn’t planned either. He is bound to Nullar not by fate, but by error. A being the universe never meant to create.



Alongside allies who carry spirits of their own, Kael will fight, grow, and face the horror of the Echo Entities. But the deeper his connection with Nullar becomes, the more he wonders:
