Noen's steps fell onto the pavement, but even they made no sound.
Behind him, Lio blew a soft puff of air, like a joke.
> "Can I hum just a tiny note, big bro?"
Mira instantly grabbed his hand.
> "No, Lio. People here don't listen… they report."

and they walked ahead.

but her mother quickly covered her mouth.
Even a giggle here… was a crime.
Something cracked inside Noen.
The boy of sound… now stood inside a cage of silence.
But in the middle of that suffocating stillness…
he saw a balcony.
A girl… in a white dress.
Her hair danced with the wind.
And her eyes held something… hidden.
And on her lips… was a song.
Not loud enough to reach the ears.
But loud enough to reach a heart.
That tiny note… shook the whole city.
But only Noen felt it.
> "This sound… cannot be silenced.
