Chapter 5

I have sent letters to Shen Shuhao, and not just one.

When I first came to this village, the village chief would either hit or scold me, and even made me take care of the old widower's daily needs.

I argued with him, but was severely beaten and locked in a chicken coop, starved for days.

In the end, I even had to fight chickens for food.

Later, I pretended to give in and was finally let out. After that, I ran frantically to the post office to send letters to Shen Shuhao.

But I never dreamed that the people at the post office were in league with the village chief.

He handed my letters over to the village chief, and that night the chief and a few old men from the village defiled me.

From then on, the nightmare began.

It's not that I hadn't thought of running, hadn't thought of dying, or hadn't thought of contacting Shen Shuhao again.

But every time I was saved or caught back.

Sending letters was like dropping stones into the sea.
