Pink Underwear

The Great Oni

Volume (1) Benoni Chapter (20)

After waiting about ten minutes, breakfast was ready.

For breakfast there was cow's milk, fried eggs, and Mother Li's homemade steamed buns.

The food was nutritionally complete, healthy, and good for growth.

Father Li also came down and ate breakfast.

Although today was Saturday, as the company chairman Father Li was busy with work.

Some days he didn't even have time to eat together.

Li Fan used Demon-Energy Master to check Father Li's health.

Father Li was only in his forties, yet his health was rather poor.

Even if he felt fine now, he would suffer quite a bit in old age.

Li Fan transferred ten years of life-force to Father Li.

Like Mother Li, Father Li suddenly felt as if he had been massaged; his body felt comfortable and filled with energy.

All the stiffness in his body disappeared, and he felt light.

For Father Li, Li Fan also transferred the full physical strength of an average adult male.

With that much, if the two parents got unlucky and something happened, they could at least protect themselves.

If they weakened later, Li Fan would quietly top them up bit by bit.

After breakfast Father Li left for work, and Mother Li went out with her friends.

Li Fan suddenly felt as if he didn't quite belong in this world.

He had lived only fourteen years here as Li Fan, yet fifty-two years in the Middle Ages as Yeti.

Feeling cooped up at home, he went out for a walk.

"Little Brother Li, long time no see," a rather pretty older sister greeted him on the street.

Li Fan at first couldn't place her; after a moment he recalled she was the neighbor sister, but he couldn't remember her name, so he just smiled.

"Aren't Auntie Li here? My mom baked buns and told me to give some to you," the neighbor sister said, eyeing him brightly, looking as if—were they not in public—she might gobble him up.

"Ah—Mom's not here, she went out," Li Fan answered in his usual tone.

"Alright then," she handed him the buns.

"Thank you, sister," Li Fan replied.

"Hey, Little Li, You usually call me by name—did you really forget my name?" she teased, fluttering her lashes.

"It's not that, sister," Li Fan said with a blank face, "of course I remember."

Then he pointed behind her and said, "Look, a ghost."

"Huh?" She turned, puzzled.

In that instant Li Fan vanished and reappeared inside her room.

On the bed he saw pink underwear but ignored it; he quickly checked her schoolbooks for her name.

Once he knew it, he vanished again and reappeared at the original spot.

"Where did the ghost go? Little Li, did you really forget my name?" she said, turning back.

Though it seemed long, only about one and a half seconds had passed.

Li Fan smiled and replied, "No, Sister Lio, I definitely remember."

Sister Lio narrowed her eyes and gave him a sidelong glare.

"Alright then, that's all, Little Li. I have other houses to deliver to. Bye bye."

With that she left.

Li Fan set the buns inside his house and went back out.

Other people wouldn't go to all this trouble, but as far as he could remember, sister Lio's family and his own were quite close.

Besides, back when he was a newly hormonal youth, Li Fan had once had a crush on her.

Now, fifty years later, meeting again, he felt so awkward he could hardly speak straight.
