Chapter 5

"Found the tombstone?" Xiao Heng was taken aback, but quickly returned to his indifferent demeanor, mocking, "The performance is quite convincing, even the tombstone is made."

"Since there's a tomb, dig it up! I want to see with my own eyes what's lying in there!"

"Lead the way!"

Xiao Heng followed behind the guards, maintaining a calm expression.

Xin Yun tugged at him, whispering, "Ah Heng brother, let the guards handle such matters. You are too noble to..."

Xiao Heng glanced at her, comforting, "Yun, don't be afraid. Xie Yajun isn't dead at all, this is just their act!"

He then ignored Xin Yun's expression and followed the guards to my tombstone.

Along the way, perhaps even he didn't notice how hurried his steps were.

Xin Yun couldn't keep up with him at all.

She gritted her teeth, her brows furrowing into a shade of gloom.

[Damn Xie Yajun, truly an ever-haunting spirit!]

Soon, Xiao Heng arrived at my tomb.
