Author's Notes #1

Hello everyone, I'm Blues B. Katt , the author of this novel. First and foremost, I want to thank you, dear reader, for taking the time to delve into this modest literary work. Although it has some shortcomings, I do my best to pour all my effort into it to provide you with an enjoyable read, in which you can find a story that will allow you to enjoy a good time.

Likewise, I believe it is necessary for me to offer you my deep apology for the interruptions that have occurred and may occur during the course of the story.

In my hometown, it's currently 12:06 a.m. as I write this; it hasn't stopped raining for days, and all the streets surrounding my house have been completely flooded. So, carrying out my daily activities (writing, working, and managing the animal shelter) has become somewhat complicated, and it's also starting to affect my health a bit.

A year ago, my cardiologist diagnosed me with mitral valve insufficiency, which has caused my physical condition to gradually weaken, but thanks to medication, I've been able to lead a life close to normal.

But because of these sudden changes in weather, I've been feeling a little under the weather lately; from headaches, nausea, and dizziness. Weakness in my legs, and at times, my blood pressure levels were too high despite taking blood pressure meds. Added to this, I've had to change my antidepressant medication, and that's affected my writing skills somewhat.

In fact, I wrote some chapters while I was having intense headaches and during my most severe depressive episodes. So, if the plot seems a bit dark at times, rest assured it's because the author went crazy :3

Just kidding, although yes, writing has become my escape valve from depression.

Oh, I almost forgot. Dear reader, did you know I really like music? For me, music is the engine that drives life, giving it appropriate nuances at specific moments. So the first chapters of this book, as you may have noticed, are song titles.

Each chapter was written while listening to the music of these songs, so if you like, you can play the song that corresponds to the chapter and experience the reading in the same way I felt while writing it.

Well, I think I've already gone on too long in this greeting. Truly, once again , thank you very much for your time, and we hope that together we can continue this story to its conclusion.

With much love

Blues B. Katt (Artemisa)
