After finishing his document checks, Jimmy moved through the final gate calmly. This time, unlike usual, there were no stares. No whispers. People were too busy preparing for departure to care about the blind boy with a silver badge and an unusual aura.
Except one man—the final attendant who checked his documents. The man's eyes lingered on Jimmy's school ID and Whisp Master tag, narrowing in silent evaluation. Still, he nodded respectfully and waved him through. Jimmy gave a small nod in return.
Unlike the others waiting in long queues, Jimmy had booked a VVIP Sky Cabin Ticket—an expensive option using a portion of his new earnings. It came with priority boarding, a private room, and dedicated service.
He was escorted gently by a helper Whisp, a small cloud-like creature with tiny hands and fluttery wings. As the aircraft hummed to life, the Whisp led Jimmy down the hall and into a quiet, elegant chamber with minimalist décor, soft lighting, and a wide panoramic window.
"Room 3-VV," the Whisp squeaked politely, helping place his bags on the side shelf. "Your assigned cabin. Thank you for flying with Grand Sky Airlines."
Jimmy nodded his thanks.
The Whisp bowed, turned to leave—and as it closed the door, Jimmy heard it mutter curiously, "Strange... they said it was for a noble. But he's just a kid."
Jimmy didn't mind.
He gently tapped his ring, summoning Luna into the room. She appeared in a soft shimmer of light, her elegant evolved form making the spacious room feel even more regal.
"You okay?" Jimmy signed, sitting beside her.
Luna nodded, her mane slightly glowing with residual static. "Mhm. That mark from evolution—it's fading, but still lingering a bit."
Jimmy scanned her through the Codex and confirmed: no instability. Just high-energy residue.
"What do you want to do here?" he asked through sign.
She grinned, her hooves clicking lightly on the floor. "Control water. And ice. If we're flying over the clouds… I want to try something new."
Jimmy chuckled soundlessly and reached for the room's service screen. He requested a large bucket of hot water for training purposes.
Minutes later, a small domestic Whisp arrived with the water—shaped like a mouse with flame-shaped ears and tiny towel wraps around its waist. It waddled in carefully, bucket held in trembling paws.
But just as it reached the door, it tripped.
"Whoops!"
The bucket flew into the air.
Without a second thought, Luna's eyes glowed. She raised her front leg, and the water paused mid-air—gathered gently by a bubble of blue energy. With graceful precision, she reformed the liquid into its original shape, levitated it, and lowered it gently back into the bucket—all without spilling a drop.
The little Whisp collapsed onto its knees, trembling. "K-Ku-Kuo… I-I'm sorry! Please don't punish me! Please!"
Jimmy raised a hand gently to calm it, his face showing no anger.
But the Whisp flinched even harder, bowing down, expecting rebuke.
Instead, Jimmy walked over and softly patted its head.
The creature looked up, eyes wide in awe. His fear melted into stunned confusion.
Jimmy just smiled, trying to hum something comforting.
"A-a-a-a…" he uttered, trying to communicate. The Whisp blinked. "ku kukk uuuu.... What are you saying…?"
Before Jimmy could try again, Luna stepped forward.
"Ononon... He can't speak," she said gently, her voice like rippling water. "I speak for him. I'm his voice."
The Whisp gasped, eyes darting between Luna and Jimmy. "from where you came from? why your body is half water half...?"
Luna smiled.
The Whisp stepped back slowly, stunned beyond words.
At that moment, the plane engines roared softly, and the cabin lights dimmed for take-off. The aircraft smoothly lifted into the sky, its nose slicing through the evening clouds.
............
After playing for nearly two hours, the cabin had turned from cold steel and artificial light into a small, warm haven.
Ku-Kulao, the timid service Whisp, now giggled softly as he sat beside Jimmy, his paws sticky from the fruit slices they shared. Luna lay nearby, occasionally flicking her tail toward Ku-Kulao in play, her icy mane softly glowing in the dim light. At first, Ku-Kulao was too afraid to even lift his head—but Jimmy had offered food, warmth, and a patient smile.
They played simple games—balancing a fruit on the nose, hiding behind cushions, even trying to mimic Luna's "Clone Sparkle," which made Ku-Kulao topple backward in laughter.
For once, the little Whisp wasn't being shouted at. He was just… happy.
But the peace shattered with a harsh knock on the door.
Jimmy looked up. Luna straightened, her ears twitching.
The door opened abruptly and a young flight hostess entered, her face flushed, eyes darting around nervously. She spotted Ku-Kulao and gasped.
"There you are!" she said in a half-whisper, half-panic. Then she turned to Jimmy and bowed deeply. "Sir—please forgive us. Did you beat him or, lock him for poor service? He's just joined—he's a little slow. He works, sleeps, and sometimes makes mistakes but he means well. I brought him in because he had nowhere else to go. If he did something wrong, I sincerely apologize. But please… please don't harm him."
Jimmy didn't answer with words. He calmly picked up his notepad and wrote:
"I don't have a problem with Whisps."
Then he flipped to the next page, and with a sharper hand, scribbled:
"My problem is with you. And your staff."
The woman blinked, unsure.
Jimmy stood up, stepped forward slowly, and raised another message:
"You neglected your duties. You gave me a bad caretaker with in your knowing. For a VVIP guest, you assigned no proper host, no assistance, nothing. Why? Because I'm blind? Because I can't speak?"
The hostess shrank under his gaze. "Sir, the flight was busy. We were behind schedule—"
Jimmy held up another sheet:
"This was scheduled sleep time. Ku-Kulao did everything. You didn't show up once. And he's clearly terrified of you."
The woman's mouth opened, but Jimmy was already pulling out his phone.
"I'll file a full complaint," he typed, showing her the glowing screen by making an lying. "With my status, my review goes to the top. Your negligence, your abuse, your cruelty—all of it."
The hostess's face paled. "You… you have no proof," she snapped. "And he—he won't say anything. He's scared. If he speaks up, he loses his license. We could even report you for abuse. Do you want that?"
Jimmy's expression didn't change.
He raised the phone again—now broadcasting a live stream on his WhispNet account.
"People are watching," JImmy said, stepping forward, her voice calm and icy. "They've heard your threats. Your words are being recorded. It's all live."
The hostess froze in place.
Jimmy turned toward Ku-Kulao, who had gone quiet—cowering slightly behind Luna's legs. But when she nudged him gently, he peeked out.
Seeing the woman, his ears flattened, and he whimpered, "Ku-ku-kuuu… please don't make me go back. She always beats me. She bought me from a back-alley shop just to profit. She claims healing expenses and takes all the money from guests. She makes me work nonstop and gets angry when I mess up…"
Luna wrapped her tail around him protectively.
The hostess, now trembling, tried to speak—but Jimmy raised a finger to silence her.
He wrote his final note:
"I'll file this, and if anyone touches Ku-Kulao again, they'll answer to me and everyone watching this stream."
The woman backed out of the room slowly, her face white, muttering apologies that no one believed.
Ku-Kulao stared at the closed door for a long time, then turned to Jimmy.
"Th-thank you," he whispered.
Jimmy just smiled, handed him another fruit slice, and motioned to continue their game.
.................
But Jimmy said 'Let's go to sleep.' All of them went to sleep happily. Jimmy also locks the door and make sure to Luna stays wake up and play with him.
Jimmy said 'good night to them and went to sleep.'
but before that jimmy said 'this might be his trap. be careful. No eating and always stay warn. I don't believe in him. Stay awake Luna.'
Luna played with Ku-kulao but gave a slight nod to him.
# I am currently facing some health problem. So, I can't make the update of new whisps or more chapters. Please forgive me.
