Referee's Voice (echoing across the field):
"MATCH START!"
Tremorlyn launched into motion like a falling boulder gaining speed — a blur of crystal-laced armor grinding against the arena floor. The glow of runes beneath its plates pulsed as its speed climbed.
Luna crouched low, her paws skimming across the slickened ground, creating ripples of misty water beneath her with every step.
CRASH!
The two surged at each other
But just as they were about to collide—
SPLASH!
Luna's body split like water, her form shimmering into two translucent halves. Tremorlyn barrelled straight through nothing, skidding past the spot with a metallic growl.
WHOOSH!
Before Gavel could shout, Luna's halves reformed, and with a ripple of power, she launched herself forward with a clean Aqua Jet, smashing directly into T's flank.
BOOM!
Tremorlyn was knocked to the edge of the ring, claws digging in hard to stop its fall.
Gavel whistled. "That hit… That's more than Tier 3."
Jimmy responded with a calm sign: "We practice more to improve."
Gavel looked at his son. "See? Look how much they train. You can also do that."
The boy cut in, focused, "No teaching mid-match, Dad!"
Tremorlyn snarled, sparks crackling faintly through its back crystals. Its eyes narrowed.
With a stomp, Tremorlyn released a shard burst — a wide scatter of gravel and crystals erupting from under its claws.
Luna weaved through them like a dancer, flipping midair and landing soft, undamaged.
Then — Tremorlyn rolled again, harder and faster, its body glowing red from heat built in its core.
CRACK!
Luna met it head-on this time.
Tackle vs. Tackle — direct collision.
Both Whisps were launched backward — T crashing with a thunderous rumble, L skidding low and flipping to a halt, claws digging into the ground.
They glared at each other — the silent growl of challenge passing between them.
And again.
Both dashed forward, jaws clenched, tails low.
Just before collision—
Whoosh.
Both twisted slightly, narrowly missing each other.
A near-hit.
They circled, breathing sharp.
Second dash — this time, collision.
CRASH!
A shoulder-to-shoulder clash echoed through the battlefield. Dust kicked up. Both grunted.
Third dash — another narrow dodge.
Fourth — collision.
Fifth — miss.
Sixth — both braced…
BOOM!
Perfectly timed double tackle.
Neither won — both were launched backward in synchronized arcs, landing nearly in mirror poses.
Dust settled.
The ground bore the marks of their hoofprints, claw lines, and a growing sense of tension.
Gavel folded his arms, watching intently.
Then he muttered, mostly to himself but loud enough to carry:
"Yes, yes I have been waiting for this fight for long time."
He turned to his son.
"Kid… you better remember this match. It's a epic showdown."
..................................................
Gavel narrowed his eyes.
"If you can't see him—how will you strike?"
Suddenly, Jimmy felt it — a subtle shockwave rumbling up from the earth. Tremorlyn began to glow, faint violet veins lighting up beneath its armor. Then, with a grinding spin, it drove itself into the ground, burrowing deep in a swirling vortex of soil and stone.
The battlefield trembled.
Luna froze, paws tense mid-stride. Her ears twitched. Something was coming… from below.
Jimmy gave a sharp sign: "Go left."
She leapt aside — a split second before the earth cracked open behind her, shards of stone bursting from the dirt.
"How do you counter an enemy underground?" Gavel asked with a smirk.
He is in thought. 30 second pass, 1 min pass, then...
a breeze shifted — dust and grains of sand tickled his boots. He crouched, scooping a palmful of damp soil. It was soft. Loose. Soaking in water like a sponge.
A plan clicked in his head.
He focused, eyes narrowing under the blindfold, and sent a thought to Luna:
"Short-range Aqua Wave — flood only part of the terrain, where you will stand. Let the water stand on the top layer. That'll weaken his cover. When that rock will come, it will allow to water to flow."
Luna slammed her front paws down.
A surge of water spiraled outward. Not a full-field wave — just enough to stand the upper crust of the arena. Shallow streams formed. Puddles. Patches of slick terrain.
Then—
BOOM!
A jagged rock spike exploded from the mud behind her. Luna spun and leapt back.
Another rock launched. She dodged again — skimming across puddles, launching Water guns in response, not to hit — but to drown more of the field.
Jimmy's plan was working. The water was being sucked into the sandy loam, creating an unstable, spongy terrain. Perfect for conduction.
Gavel was watching, brow furrowed. He said 'do you think my Tremorlyn can't handle water? you fool I also have trained it hard to fight it any condition.'
Jimmy typed on his phone and showed it:
"Don't worry."
5 min this is still going on. Gavel is smiling on Jimmy for this foolish attack orders. But then jimmy signed.
A stage is set...
Luna suddenly halted mid-run — perfectly still at the centre of the soaked battlefield.
Jimmy stepped back.
ZzzZATTTTT!!
From Luna's paws, a pulse of electricity erupted downward, streaking through the wet soil.
CRACK!!
A burst of steam and mist shot up — and Tremorlyn erupted from underground, body shuddering, electric sparks dancing along its rocky hide.
Gavel's voice shot out:
"Roll! Find dry ground!"
But there was none.
The arena had become a shallow electric swamp. Tremorlyn spun, but his movements were stuttering — mud clung to his limbs, and every spin sent more arcs of electricity dancing across his armor.
Still, he growled and fired a Rock Barrage toward Luna.
She flipped back and summoned a clone mid-air.
Now two Lunas danced across the soaked terrain.
One clone darted left, fired a Water Gun.
Another zigzagged wide, mimicking real movement.
Gavel clenched his fists.
"Crystal Beam! Lock the real one!"
Tremorlyn's eyes pulsed. He launched crystal-infused soil spikes, along with a rune-lock pulse, which latched onto the centre Luna.
BOOM! — The clone exploded.
But another clone jumped from behind.
Fake again.
Then—
From the far edge of the ring, the real Luna emerged, sliding across the water like a shadow. A tracking rune hit her.
Gavel shouted:
"Now! Strike!"
Tremorlyn surged forward.
SLAM!
A perfect tackle landed. Luna was struck square in the chest.
Both Whisps were blasted back — the impact creating a burst of water and mist.
The field quieted.
Steam hissed across the soaked earth. Debris floated.
And standing there… was Luna.
Or so it seemed.
Until—PFFFFT!
Her body dissolved into mist.
It was still a mirage.
The real Luna? Nowhere to be seen.
....................................................
The battle had reached its boiling point.
Gavel's voice echoed across the battered field. "Let's end it, Tremorlyn!"
Suddenly, ten crystalline rocks, shimmering with embedded crystals, erupted from the ground in a synchronized explosion of mud and dust. Between the glowing boulders, smaller shards launched like shrapnel, filling every gap.
Jimmy, still as a statue, sensed it before it happened.
SPLASH!
From the soaked ground, Luna emerged, struck by one of the rogue crystal shots. The reason was clear — Tremorlyn had targeted every area where water once pooled.
The flood terrain was gone. The earth had reclaimed the moisture, turning the field dry. Luna had been hiding beneath the wet layers, and now her cover was broken.
Gavel smirked, arms crossed. "Thief got caught."
Without missing a beat, Tremorlyn spun up again, rock shards scattering, tearing across the arena in chaotic loops. Another barrage of stone followed.
But Luna moved.
She didn't just dodge. She exploded into action.
With a burst of blue light, she unleashed a combo: Electric Tackle, Zigzag, and Clone Multiply.
In seconds, the battlefield swarmed with over 25 Luna clones, darting like phantoms. Their movements overlapped, weaved, and ricocheted like light refracted through a prism.
Even Gavel took a cautious step back. "Still so much energy... from an intermediate Whisp? She's trained for endurance."
Tremorlyn growled. A new move activated.
Rocks thrown toward the clones began to slide unnaturally mid-air, drawn by a magnetized force. It wasn't a random effect — Tremorlyn had developed a sliding technique, allowing his projectiles to change trajectory in-flight.
But the clones kept coming. They hit him, one after another — Aqua Tackles, water gun, bubble beams slamming his armoured plates from all sides.
Jimmy frowned. It wasn't enough. It's soil, his territory.
He signed: "Luna. Lightning Call."
Luna stopped. Glanced back. For just a breath, she hesitated — confirming his command.
Then she nodded.
The clones around the arena began to steam, dissolving into vapor.
Only ten remained.
Tremorlyn didn't notice. He was still rolling, launching stones, stuck in the same destructive cycle.
The real Luna? Hidden between one clone, nearly identical, except one was slightly larger.
Jimmy noticed.
The timing had to be perfect.
Gavel saw the positioning. He sensed the trap.
"Tremorlyn , jump! Get to the air! Rock Shield!"
Tremorlyn soared, a powerful leap enhanced by a subterranean burst of stone. As he ascended, rocks and soil gathered to him mid-flight, layering over his body.
In seconds, he became a giant boulder, nearly 6 meters wide — a complete rock sphere, hovering like a meteor ready to crash.
Jimmy gave one more signal.
Luna sprinted to the far corner of the ring and formed a shallow water pool, no larger than a puddle.
Then she waited.
Above, Tremorlyn began to spin.
From his armored mass, rock shards launched like orbiting moons, spinning away with terrifying velocity.
BOOM. BOOM. BOOM.
Each clone was struck. Dissipated. Vaporized.
The sky was falling. But no one noticed a cloud on the sky.
Then, the rock meteor descended. With a cataclysmic thud, it smashed into the centre of the arena. Debris flew. The impact shook the stands.
A mountain of broken stone formed in the middle of the field. Tremorlyn perched atop it like a conquering king.
He bellowed toward Gavel. "TOEI TOEI! We won!"
Gavel threw his fists in the air, already rushing forward. "That's my boy! Great job, Tremorlyn!"
Even the referee raised a hand, preparing to end the match.
But Jimmy didn't move.
He was smiling.
The wind shifted. All of them felt it, a ting ling sensation on their skin.
CRACK-BOOOOM!
A bolt of thunder split the sky and struck the rocky hill, blasting shards in every direction. The light blinded everyone for a breath.
When the dust cleared, the stone sphere had melted partially, molten cracks glowing red.
And from inside, Luna stood. Wounded, breathing hard, sparks still dancing around her soaked fur.
One final Aqua Tackle had struck just as the lightning landed.
Tremorlyn groaned. He staggered. Then collapsed.
Luna collapsed right after.
The referee stared in stunned silence. He glanced at both fallen Whisps.
Then raised his hand.
"Double KO! The match ends in a draw!"
#$# I hope you liked this match. more exciting is coming here. stay tunned.
