[Sometime later after the agreement between the Akrema and the director had been finalized.]

[Current location: Special training grounds.]

"Okay. Miss Akrema. Just making sure, there is no problem with your body anymore, today, right?" – asked the man who was the person that Akrema met before that checked her body and was now standing near Akrema.

[Merok Sato – Head healer of the base.]

"Yea, yea. I'm sure. Nothing is wrong with my body." – said Akrema while stretching her body while also wearing an special training clothes.

(I guess they used some sort of magic drugs or something to patch me up quickly.)

(And they also confirmed Amber safety, so this is enough for me.)

(They also said that they will do something about high school and shouldn't worry about it.)

"Anyway, what you got me do?"

"Well, first thing first." – said Merok as he took out tablet.

"How much do you know about your ability?"

"Did you experience anything weird? Like suddenly burst in strength or for example your senses getting stronger?"

"Hm… Well, so far I know I did an transformation into something like bear human hybrid, but that was more of a spurt of moment situation."

"Hm… Then what about your eyesight, sense of smell and taste, are they still acting weird?" – asked the doctor.

"Yea… They do." – replied Akrema.

"Hm…. Well, I think they are improving." – said doctor.

"I think your Tale improves your sense and your body is adjusting to them. The weird feeling you are experiencing is just you not used to your senses getting suddenly sharpened like that. But by the look of things, they only got only small boost and nothing like extremely powerful like dog sense of smell or something."

"If you did had forcefully improved senses very highly, then the reaction may had been way more unpleasant, but right now its small if not just minor improvement that will only cause your sense to get slightly better and that's it. Nothing scary that needs any special attention."

"Anyway, beside that there was nothing wrong or you did not discovered anything new, correct?"

"Yes." – replied Akrema.

"Okay… Next thing: Your situation." – said doctor while writing stuff on his tablet.

"Miss Akrema, were you told what is the difference between the regular human and an mage?"

"Well… From what I had been told, the mages second body is active, right?" – said Akrema.

[When you think about your body you usually think something like flesh and bones, right? There is also the soul, some people think that souls aren't real, but they are very much real and stuff.]

[In order words, the living beings have two bodies.]

[Their physical body and their mental body A.K.A soul.]

[Both normal humans and human mages have these things.]

[So, what is difference between the two?]

[Do mages have some special organs? Or maybe their human organs are some sort of weird mutation?]

[Well, no. Their bodies are like humans.]

[So, what is the difference?]

[Simple put the third body. Astral body.]

[Some people believe that the astral body and soul are one and the same, but they are not.]

[Astral bodies are the bodies that are vessels or maybe called authority that we possess?]

[Either way, the Astral body is the third body of a living creature and pretty much all have them.]

[So does that mean all humans are mages and have mana?]

[No.]

[True. Mana can exist in the people, but its dormant.]

[The average person Astral body is either inactive or too weak, causing them to be unable to sense, feel and see the mana.]

[However, what about the beings that can feel their astral bodies? That they can use them and recognize them?]

[Those beings that had awakened astral bodies?]

[Simple put they will be allowed to wield an power that does not exist in this world but in between, things like mana for example, with in turn can turn an being into an mage.]

"But I'm not an mage. Nor my parents were. I didn't inherited anything like awaken astral body or anything like that." – said Akrema.

"Yes. This is correct. You were not an mage at all." – said the doctor.

"Hold the fuck up. Did you said "were not"?" – said Akrema.

"Yeb." – replied doctor.

"Your astral body had awakened. Reason? Your fusion with the Tale."

"?!"

"So wait, am mage now?!" – asked Akrema.

"Dunno." – replied doctor.

"…Eh?"

"Let me explain."

"One thing is having an awakened vessel and another is being mage."

"For all we know you may completely suck at magic to the point becoming an mage will be physically impossible."

"Or you may not be able handle mana at all. So sorry if I crushed your optimism, but we don't know."

"Anyway, right now lets focus on testing your Tale power and learning how to control it."

"Now."

"From what I know, you had transformed into half bear half human hybrid."

"Can you somehow repeat that process?"

"Hm…. Well, I can try." – said Akrema.

(It was an spurt out of moment thing, but I did managed to revert back…. I also knew what I was somewhat and what sort of thing of mix of beings I was…. So maybe this time I have to imagine the reverse process happening.)

(Transforming…. Changing…. Bear…. Human…. Hybrid…. Body…. Flesh…..Skin…. Claws and fangs.)

Akrema began feeling an change as her body began slowly charging, transforming, growing fur, growing in size, growing fangs and causing the ears to mutate slowly.

The process took some time, but it wasn't long for Akrema to once again took on her hybrid form that was an mix of a bear and human.

"!?"

"!"

"Are you alright?" – asked the doctor who noticed Akrema acting weird.

"Yea…. Its just… Its just crams…. This time they appeared instantly….. But not as hellish as before." – said Akrema who had little problem with moving.

"…"

(Yea, compare to the before, this is manageable, at least I don't have to crawl.) – though Akrema while trying to somewhat handle the cramps.

"Okay…I can…. I can move…What next?" – asked Akrema.

"Now? Test will start."

<<" While trying to find Amber who could had been possible still in area, some stupid guy riding motorcycle hit me, threw me to the side and caused me to hit my head against solid steel, knocking me out and unconscious.">

<" The guy was drunk and though he had killed me, so he dumped my body into trash, before then ridding away.">>

<<" However, I was found by the police officer who then took me for the hospital where I then recovered, while the guy that hit and run me got catched and thrown to the prison.">>

"…" – Akrema entered her house and began looking around, trying to find anything weird or hidden, only to find nothing.

(Welp, I did warned them that I want privacy and that I would look around for any shady hidden cameras and destroy them if they did planted any…. I guess they took my warning to the heart….) – though Akrema as she walked though her house, just wondering around, before then heading to her bed and straight up falling on top of it.

"This is stupid." – said Akrema as she stared at the ceiling.

"…."

(I hated it.)

(I hated my life.)

(I hated how boring it was.)

(And I hated how boring it would become.)

(But I also understand how things should be….. But now?)

(Now I'm monster known as the Tale Bearer.) – though Akrema as she stared at her hand, causing it slightly to change before then transforming back to normal.

"This isn't normal… I'm getting used to it and its starting to get easier to use…."

(I'm fucking hypocrite.)

(I don't want boring life, but that doesn't mean I will just go risk it all and enter the fucking unknown world where monsters that hunts human live.)

(Nah. I'm looking for excitement and stuff, but I'm not risking my life.)

(Not only that, how do know I'm strong? Like I can take down these wolf man shattered, but two headed? What about Tale? Or Autos?)

(…Or even worse, that "dancing swordman"?)

(I ain't an hero nor some main protagonist.)

(I don't have goal and that is fine…. I will just be the cog, just like before anything of that happened.)
