The Dragon Ceremony: Meeting Ryn’s Parent

"Wow, this is amazing!" he exclaimed as he walked out of the shimmering portal with the rest of the thirty students who had come for the dragon ceremony.

Ryn couldn't believe his eyes as he stared around. The arena was much bigger than the one they had used for the trial. It was a colossal arena set on a mountain. Giant dragon statues ringed the edges of the arena, and above them, dragons soared.

"Incredible," he exclaimed as he looked around.

The only place he had ever seen such magnificent sights was in his video games.

"This sucks," Mira complained as she adjusted the crimson ribbon tied around her hair.

The thirty students who had passed the trial each wore the same hanfu, black trimmed with the color of their ranks, belted tightly at the waist.
