The moment Lucien agreed, he suddenly felt a strange wave ripple deep within his soul.
"Squeak!"
The wave was invisible, and Lucien couldn't see how it worked.
He just held the little guy gently in his hand, breathing slowly, letting the system do the rest.

"Is it still injured?"
Lucien ignored everything and looked directly at the HP of the little guy and couldn't help but frown.
He saw that it had already dropped to 20 and was still on the verge of death.
The connection he just established only made him feel closer to the little guy.
He could sense how gravely it was injured, but he still had no idea what to do to save it.
'Wait a minute. If I can make a soul link, then... can I summon it into the beast space?'
Lucien suddenly thought of one important point.
Just like Soul Link was a skill of the Beast Tamer class, Beast Space was also another perk of it.
It allowed a beast tamer to store their beast in a spirit-like pocket realm.
And from what he had heard, it seemed that realm had healing power.
Of course, it was only accessible to the Beast Tamer class, hence Hugo couldn't use it to heal his Golden Monkey.
But Lucien's situation was weird with his system. Without awakening as a Beast Tamer, he could already make a Soul Link.
So, it made sense for him to have access to the Beast Space, too, right?
"How do I use it?"
Lucien tried to ask the system, but it was silent.
So, he just placed his hand on the Glimmergnaw and then felt the faint connection with him that was just established.
Then, he thought of summoning him into another space, focusing his mind on sending the little creature away.
"It worked!"
Surprisingly, it really worked as Lucien saw the little guy suddenly disappear from his hand into an unknown space that he could faintly feel.
He also sensed that the little guy would reappear whenever he called.
"Hope you get healed. I can only do this much."
Feeling that the problem had been solved for now, Lucien finally sighed in relief and stood up.
He did everything he could. Now, it was up to the magical Beast Space and the little guy whether he could be saved.
"Let's rest for a while and leave this place."
Lucien decided as he was too tired. Fortunately, his injury was healing slowly on its own due to the effect of the healing potion.
"Let's see how many attributes and skills I gained from that D-rank Earth Dragon. That damn Glen didn't even let me see it."
He thought with a little smile, a little surprised that he survived this ordeal.
"But what was that 'Touched by the Seed of Greed' in the little guy's status? And what about that container?"
Lucien mumbled while slowly closing his eyes to rest, deciding to think about those cumbersome things once he had recovered.

In the center of the majestic forest in the Genesis Rift Dungeon stood a massive, jagged crack in the earth, glowing faintly with silver and violet light.
It resembled the portal Lucien had entered to reach the dungeon, only it looked far more unstable and dangerous.
This was the Rift, a central part of this novice dungeon, hence its name. Many believed the bestowal of classes had something to do with whatever lay beyond it.
Regardless, a number of youngsters could be seen gathered nearby, waiting for night to fall.
They had already reached the heart of the forest by their own means and in doing so, had qualified for the upcoming class awakening.
"Your Majesty, that guy still hasn't arrived yet."
In one corner, a group of people stood quietly, surrounding a beautiful figure who stood out like a swan among crows.
Her presence was graceful yet commanding, her eyes calmly observing the rift in the distance, as if nothing escaped her notice.
Beside her, Boros lowered his head and conveyed the news he had just received. Although his posture was respectful, the fanaticism in his eyes couldn't be hidden.
"Oh? Are you sure?"
Hearing Boros's words, Lilith replied lightly, as if the matter didn't concern her in the slightest.
"Yes, Your Majesty. We have already searched everyone who arrived at the center. We didn't see anyone wearing a dark robe, nor did we find that Glen you mentioned. Should we... search again?"
Boros replied.
"No need. Just wait... he might still be on the way. You may leave."
Princess Lilith waved her hand casually, her gaze never once shifting from the rift ahead.
"Yes, Your Majesty."
Boros quickly bowed and left, though a little reluctantly. But the princess had already given her command, and he would never disobey it, even if it cost him his life.
'Why is that guy so late? Was the news incorrect?'
Once Boros left her side, Princess Lilith's expression returned to calm as she began to think.
'No, the news should be correct. The container must be in his hands. He's likely just been delayed.'
Princess Lilith bit her lip, her eyes drifting toward the massive rift ahead once again.
'I hope he arrives before nightfall. The seed is already on the verge of sprouting. I can't afford to wait much longer.'
She looked up at the sky, now beginning to dim.
'If he doesn't come in time... I may have to take it without the container.'
'The Seed of Sins must not fall into anyone else's hands.'
At the end, her eyes narrowed with cold determination and a faint killing intent that was barely noticeable.
