Chapter 68: The Eight Tailed Beasts All Fall Into the Devouring Statue!

"Summoning Technique · Gedo Statue!!"

Uchiha Madara slammed his hand to the ground with a calm but chilling voice.

Suddenly, glowing summoning runes spread from his palm, racing outward in every direction.

Zhengpu——!

In the next instant, a massive cloud of white mist erupted behind Madara.

Roar——!!

A terrifying and ancient roar tore through the battlefield, echoing across the desert.

As the dust settled, both the Allied Shinobi Forces and the enemy forces stared in wide-eyed disbelief.

What stood behind Uchiha Madara now… was a grotesque, towering, humanoid figure made of what appeared to be dead, gnarled wood. Its skeletal frame and twisted posture looked like a statue formed from pain and fury.

It was the Gedo Statue—the empty vessel of the Ten Tails!

The air turned heavy. Every shinobi present instinctively felt it: an overwhelming pressure unlike anything they had experienced.

"The game is about to end," Leo muttered quietly, walking calmly across the battlefield. He passed Izuna and a stunned group of Konoha and Allied shinobi with a faint smile on his lips.

Everything was finally approaching its conclusion.

---

Meanwhile, Izuna, Tsunade, Kakashi, Kurenai, Ohnoki, Terumi Mei, the Raikage, and the entire 100,000-strong Allied Shinobi Army stared at the monstrous figure behind Madara.

Even from a distance, they could sense its ominous power. It didn't look like a creature—it looked like a relic of death itself.

"What... What is that thing?" Terumi Mei murmured in horror.

"It's alive... no, it's something far worse than that," Kakashi said, clutching his headband tightly.

Everyone was visibly shaken.

The presence of the Gedo Statue was something no one could ignore.

---

"Tch... I knew it," growled the Eight Tails from within Killer Bee. "That bastard Madara actually summoned it!"

"All of you, prepare yourselves!" roared Killer Bee, now fully transformed into the Eight Tails.

The other tailed beasts, sensing what was to come, were furious.

"Rinnegan... With the Rinnegan, he can even summon that thing?" Shukaku raged.

"Damn it! I won't go back in there! Never again!" roared Chōmei.

They knew.

Everyone knew.

Madara was going to absorb all nine tailed beasts into the Gedo Statue—and once that was done, he would become the Jinchūriki of the Ten Tails!

---

"Hey, Eight Tails... What exactly is that thing?!" the Raikage demanded, looking toward Killer Bee, who stood beside him in full transformation.

Ohnoki, Terumi Mei, and the others turned toward him as well, all desperate for answers.

Killer Bee swallowed hard, the usual rap cadence in his voice fading.

"Yo, no time to joke! That thing's the empty shell of the Ten Tails! Madara wants to revive the Ten Tails and use it to remake the world!"

"What?!" the Raikage's eyes widened.

"Ten... Ten Tails?!" Ohnoki gasped.

Even the veterans among the Allied Forces were stunned. Most of them had only heard vague myths of the Ten Tails, and now the empty shell was standing before them, real and horrifying.

Everything was starting to make sense—the moon's creation, the truth behind the Sage of Six Paths, the plan to gather all the tailed beasts...

And Madara... was right in the center of it all.

---

Just then, Madara slowly raised his head. His expression was calm, eyes glowing with power.

"I once told the Nine Tails…" he said, voice echoing eerily across the battlefield, "...you tailed beasts are nothing more than scattered pieces of chakra."

"And now, I—Madara—shall bring you all together once again!"

"You wish!!" Gaara shouted, and One Tail Shukaku within him roared defiantly.

The eight tailed beasts, now out of their Jinchūriki hosts or transformed alongside them, stood at full height, staring down the Gedo Statue and Uchiha Madara with determined eyes.

Madara smirked.

Then—

He leapt into the air and landed atop the head of the Gedo Statue.

"Limbo: Border Jail!!"

Zheng——!

The lavender glow of his Rinnegan pulsed with deadly intent.

"What's he doing?" Ohnoki asked, eyes narrowed.

Nobody knew. No jutsu had been activated in the visible world.

Then—

Bang——!!

Without warning, One Tail Shukaku dropped to the ground with a loud crash!

Bang! Bang!

Four Tails Son Gokū and Seven Tails Chōmei followed instantly, collapsing as if struck by an invisible hammer.

Bang, bang, bang——!!

All eight tailed beasts collapsed one after another, groaning in pain.

"Aghhhh!!"

Their massive bodies writhed helplessly.

"What—what just happened?!" Tsunade yelled in disbelief.

"Gaara!"

"Lord Bee!"

"Old Purple!!"

Kankuro, Temari, Ohnoki, and others shouted in panic.

They had no idea what was happening. No jutsu had touched them. No warning signs. No physical attacker. But the eight tailed beasts were down.

Was it genjutsu? A sealing technique?

Or something far more terrifying?

Terumi Mei stepped back in fear. "This… this isn't human…"

---

Madara, standing atop the statue with his Rinnegan glowing, raised one hand arrogantly.

"Well then… it's time to put on your collars," he said coldly. "Beasts!"

Zheng——!

From the mouth of the Gedo Statue, eight chakra chains burst out—glowing with otherworldly light.

Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh——!!

The chains shot through the air like vipers and wrapped tightly around each of the fallen tailed beasts' necks.

Without pause.

Without mercy.

Without resistance.

The Allied Forces were still trying to understand what had just happened when—

Shua——!!

One Tail Shukaku was the first to be pulled violently from Gaara's body.

"Gaa—ra—!!" Temari and Kankuro screamed in panic.

Gaara's body jerked in midair. His eyes rolled back. His life force began to fade.

The price of losing a tailed beast was death.

---

Next was the Two Tails.

Raikage Ai, burning with rage and lightning, launched forward to intercept the chains—

Bang——!!

But an invisible force struck him midair, sending him crashing to the ground, coughing blood.

"Brother!!" Killer Bee shouted, trembling.

"Lord Raikage!" Omoi and the others rushed to aid him.

But the chains did not wait.

Two Tails was ripped from her Jinchūriki and swallowed by the Gedo Statue.

---

"Lava Style: Lava Technique!!" shouted Terumi Mei, desperately trying to melt the chains as they reached Three Tails.

"Storm Release: Laser Circus!!" Darui added, firing his Kekkei Genkai at the same target.

But nothing worked.

The chains were unaffected—unstoppable.

Invisible forces blocked every counterattack. No matter how many elite jutsu were fired, none could even scratch them.

Bang! Bang!

Four Tails, Five Tails, Six Tails, Seven Tails—

One after another, were ripped from their hosts and devoured.

Jinchūriki everywhere began collapsing, their chakra drained, their bodies lifeless.

It was a massacre of monsters.

And it ended with Killer Bee—

The final Jinchūriki.

"Bastard… Madara…!!" Bee muttered weakly as the chains wrapped around him.

He struggled, groaned, shouted.

But resistance was meaningless.

---

"Dust Release: Original World Separation Technique!!"

Ohnoki used the last of his strength to launch the most powerful version of his bloodline-elimination technique.

A huge cube of glowing energy shot toward the Gedo Statue—

Only to be devoured by the same unseen force.

Hiss——!!

The Dust Release simply vanished.

And then…

Gulp——!!

Eight Tails was pulled into the Gedo Statue with a final groan from Killer Bee.

---

The battlefield went dead silent.

The dust settled.

The chains retracted.

All eight tailed beasts were sealed inside the Gedo Statue.

Madara stood on its head, his expression smug.

"That went well."

Then, with a glance to the side, he smirked.

"Now, let's begin... Another me."

Leo stood calmly in the distance.

Their eyes met.

A silent understanding passed between them.

Madara raised a hand.

"Summoning Technique!!"
