The Oyabun quickly scrambled while standing up, shakily pointing his index finger at the figure in the corner of the room.
Everyone, seeing their boss being like this and pointing at somewhere, immediately stood and warily grabbed their katanas and weapons.
In the Oyabun's eyes, the moment one of the Yakuza members stood and blocked his vision of the Oni momentarily, the Oni has already disappeared, as if he wasn't there to begin with.
"Oyabun! What's the matter!?" His close friends and men approached him and asked.
"T-The Oni was just there. The one on the screen." The Oyabun gulped his saliva in fear while trying to explain.
However, after being met with weird gazes and doubtful glances, he realized he sounded crazy and stupid.
"….It's nothing. Must've been a lack of my sleep." He tried to compose himself and shrug it off.
"The meeting is adjourned everyone. As for this Oni. I want him dealt with tonight. Do everything you can, use every resources you need, hire as much men as you need. I want him gone before I woke up tomorrow, understood?" Recovering and maintaining his stern and feared persona, the Oyabun launched a bunch of orders, each being focused on eliminating the Oni.
"Hai!" Everyone stood and bowed their heads before leaving.
As for the Oyabun, he retreated to his quarters and sat on the bed, his eyes darting around in fear and cautiousness.
In his mind, he kept reminding himself that he's safe in his room. After all, his entire mansion is surrounded by hundreds of highly trained Yakuzas and assassins.
There's no way, a single man would be able to infiltrate such a highly secured facility, right?
"It's alright. It's alright. I still have my trump card." He muttered to himself while clutching the brown parchment on his pocket as if it's his lifeline.
**
Standing on top of the Japanese Compound's kawara, Kenshin overlooked the entire Yakuza group.
"Heh. That was easy." Kenshin smirked to himself as he watched the Yakuza members in the compound go in their own ways.
What the Oyabun saw earlier was actually true. Kenshin was indeed there and he's just trying to add some scary effects so his intimidation later would become more effective.
Like what he planned, Kenshin's purpose isn't to eradicate the Yakuza group. It would be too wasteful and cause harm to Japan, whether he likes it or not.
He's just going to give them a spanking and perhaps, guide them to proper path
"It's time…" Kenshin looked up at the night sky and saw the sun has finally dipped completely.
Brandishing his Katana sword and his Oni mask, Kenshin decided to target the west wing first.
Of course, the Katana, Oni Mask and the black garb aren't normal.
After two days of hunting the Yakuzas, his stats has exponentially grown.
[Name: Alistair Abara, Kuroki Kenshin
Age: 12,690, 15
Class: Hero
Titles: Evil Slayer
Strength: 46
Magic: 89
Agility: 45
Durability: 42
Constitution: 48
Mind: 39 ]
Thanks to that, he's now about to meet the requirements of some of the items in his inventory.
[Gale Katana
- Forged by the great blacksmiths of Kakura Town that resembles a Japanese Medieval Period. This was a gift to Alistair Abara after helping their village escape from an Oni Invasion. It was later personally enchanted by Alistair Abara to be extremely durable, sharper and lighter than ever. It also have the ability to unleash devastating wind slashes and can be recalled back to the owner's hand after a single thought command. Due to its extremely lightweight and wind attacks, it earned its name as Gale Katana.]
It may not be as strong as some of his swords that have special effects but this one used to be Kenshin's favourite.
Maybe because he used to Bea fan of Samurais and Ninjas when before he got to the world of Fantazio.
Nevertheless, the Katana is still a good weapon. It's durability is hundred times better than normal sword, and the sharpness is enough to cut through steel like cutting through butter, while its weight is almost non-existent, so wielding it is like having an extension of your limb, and finally, last but not the least, the ability to unleash wind slashes.
Although it's not that much and he could do the same with any kind of bladed weapon but it's still a useful one as it doesn't use any mana or stamina, a simple swing of the sword is good enough.
And finally, there's the Oni Mask.
[Oni King mask
- It was the mask of the powerful Oni King that once tried to invade the Kakura Town but ultimately failed thanks to the Hero Alistair Abara. Wearing the mask would have an intimidation effect, so whoever sees it would feed dread and fear. The mask could also increase the strength of its wearer.]
To be honest, the mask doesn't sound anything special, almost any Oni mask could have an intimidation effect but the true icing on the cake is its increase in his strength.
Although Kenshin doesn't exactly like items that boost his strength but in his current case, it's his only savior for now.
And finally, the black garb that he's wearing.
[Black Garb
- A black garb that was bought from a local store by Kuroki Kenshin and enchanted by the same man. Wearing the black garb could make them blend in the darkness and stay invisible once under a shadow.]
Yes, this one was just bought by Kenshin when he passed by a local thrift store, he thought the outfit looked good on his ongoing cause, so he bought it and enchanted it once he got back home.
With all of this combined with a few of his rings and earrings that gives him a few small benefits, Kenshin is confident that barely anyone in the Yakuza compound would be able to threaten him for now.
Yes, he's talking about that white-haired assassin, Sakamoto. From the information he got from the memories of the Yakuza members he killed, he got to know who Sakamoto is and how he is a huge legend in the underground circle.
Legendary Hitman, Greatest Asssasin and many more titles under his belt.
As for fighting him without relying on his items? He would still have the upper hand, strength-wise, he might not be that good against Sakamoto but with his magic and maxed out hand-to-hand combat and many other physical skills, he would slam the ground against him. Remove the magic and the result would still be the same.

"Can't believe we're actually getting targeted by an Oni." Patrolling the west wing of the huge Yakuza compound, four Yakuza members took their time to have a small chat with one another, enough to catch up.
"You actually believe that it's an Oni? Oh please, I thought you were better than that. I've seen and witnessed hundreds of assassins in my life and most of them tries to be unique. Some uses a dull Katana thinking they would be feared as The Assasin who used Dull Katana or something like that."
"The Oni's the same thing, it would just be another assassin with a weird sense of fashion and style."
"You're right….I guess?"
"Relax, we're in Oyabun's compound. No one, not even our rival Yakuza groups are brave enough to invade this place."
"Right…."
The four continue their small chat, ranging from their lives to the lives of others.
Eventually, they only realized that their surroundings have become quiet, too quiet.
Normally, there should be other Yakuza patrols who passes them but they've been having a chat for almost five minutes and yet, not a single Yakuza patrol us on sight.
"Something's wrong…" One of them muttered and brandished his katana, the others followed suit.
"Why does it feel like we're not alo-"
Fwooosh!
Schlick!
Before the cautious Yakuza could finish his words, he felt a sharp pain on his neck, as if some unforeseen force slashed his neck.
"Hey! Fuguro!" One of the Yakuza beside him noticed him and the red line on his neck and rushed towards him.
"Stay with me! Fugur-"
Fwoosh!
Schlick!
The man's eyes widened in surprise as he met the same fate as his friend. A red thin line on his neck.
The other two Yakuza patrols panicked and was about to run and sound the alarm to let everyone known in the compound about an intruder when they were also met with an invisible attack that came from nowhere.
Fwoosh!
Fwoosh!
Schlick!
Schlock!
Four bodies hit the floor, all bleeding on their necks.
Only then did their attacker finally showed himself, it was Kenshin, wearing his Oni mask and black garb.
"Didn't expect the wind slash to be this effective against normal humans." Kenshin whistled as he took a good look at the necks of the dead yakuza patrols.
Not only the wind slashes are invisible but it is also fast enough that dodging almost seem impossible.
"The alarm should be coming by now…" Kenshin muttered to himself and a few seconds later, a loud alarm resounded across the compound, waking everyone up.
"What the? Intruder? There's an intruder?"
"Someone actually invaded Oyabun's compound?!"
"Quick! Gather with everyone!"
Thanks to the alarm, the entire Yakuza compound is in a state of panic, everyone scrambling to find either their weapons or their superiors.
Nevertheless, this is exactly what Kenshin wants.
He would fight his way towards the Oyabun, to show his might and only then would he be able to discuss with the Oyabun with him having the upperhand.
In this kind of world, it's better to have a connection in the Underworld than nothing. At least this way, he would have a means to politically protect his interests.
Why politically? Well, he can't just go and ravage the entire country of Japan for something as minuscule as being targeted by the law, right?
"I'm coming for you…" Kenshin raised his Oni mask and stared directly at the camera, raising his katana and pointing at it.
***
"He's there! Arrgg!" Similar to what happened in the other Yakuza bases, the vengeful Oni massacred everyone in his path, everyone that blocks his way either bled to death or had their necks decapitated.
He's not afraid of weakening the Yakuza by this. He knows that the Oyabun has many other bases aside from his compound and the bases he struck.
The man no doubt would still recover from this.
Slash!
Slash!
Slash!
Kenshin's stride forward doesn't stop and so is his katana.
It only shows a black blur and yakuza members fell with decapitated heads.
Starting from the first floor, Kenshin made his way up to the highest floor.
Throughout the floors, Kenshin encountered many kinds of attacks. Aside from Katanas, Kenshin also fought against hot weapons, typically some pistols and rifles.
Despite it however, they stood no chance against his katana.
And whenever someone uses katana against him, Kenshin would just swing his katana and slice theirs with ease.
Enchanted sharpness for the win!
It only took Kenshin five minutes before he arrived at the room of the Oyabun.
Opening it slightly, Kenshin was met with a hail of bullets.
Bang!
Bang!
Bang!
Bang!
Defending himself, Kenshin meticulously waved his Gale Katana, slicing every bullet that came his way in half.
Scanning his eyes around the room, Kenshin took note of two Yakuza members holding assault rifles and slashed the air in front of him.
Before anyone could react, two invisible wind slashes flew towards the necks of the two yakuza members, killing them on the spot.
The only remaining man in the room was the Oyabun, standing alone and wearing his night pajamas.
"D-Don't go anywhere near me." The old man's voice cracked, pointing his finger threateningly at him.
"I want to talk…." Kenshin said while continuing his walk forward.
However, the Oyabun seemed to have taken this as a sign that he'll attack and quickly took out a brown paper from his pocket and ripped it in half.
Ripped!
They stayed silent for a few seconds, with the Oyabun awkwardly staring at the ripped paper in his hand.
Just as Kenshin was about to question the decision of ripping a paper in front of him, something suddenly happened.
The ripped paper turned into motes of light and slowly floats down the ground.
The moment it touched the floor, it suddenly took the form of a magical-looking circle that lit the entire room.
"Hahaha! It worked! I summon you! I summon the devil!" The Oyabun gleefully smiled, laughing as he waved his arms around, shouting delightfully.
'Summon the devil?' Kenshin's grip on his katana tightened, knowing the uniqueness of this world that seemed to combine several animes from his past earth.
'Is it really the devil?'
