A thought flashed through his mind, and he hooked his lips into a smirk.
"We're working overtime today. Also, call Gongguan Coffee and have them deliver a cup of coffee for one person immediately."
Right after he said it, Kellan felt a bit regretful. It was just a woman, why was he going this far?
"Yes, sir," Denise replied respectfully and turned to leave.
She glanced at the CEO's originally gloomy face, which now held a small trace of satisfaction.
She couldn't understand him at all. Was he actually interested in the part-time worker?
His thoughts were impossible to guess!
Still, when the CEO said it was overtime, they had to do it.
No exceptions. As soon as the announcement came out, the office filled with groans and complaints.

"Ding ding ding…"
Right before closing, Gongguan Coffee got another delivery order. The address? Marriott International.
"Rachel, deliver the coffee," Stella said with a proud look on her face.
The manager, Barrett, had already left. Lately, Stella had gotten pretty chummy with him, so everyone kind of had to do what she said.
Rachel had already changed out of her work clothes and was ready to head home.
"You can deliver it yourself," Rachel said quickly, then turned and bolted like a rabbit.
She'd been delivering coffee all day and was dead tired. If she went out again, she wouldn't have time to cook for Cora.
Stella stood there fuming, stomping her feet in frustration. In the end, she had to deliver it herself.
Half an hour later, the coffee finally arrived at Marriott International.
Denise took the cup and brought it straight to President Elliott, placing it on the desk with care before stepping back.
Young Master Elliott's face was completely dark. His brows were scrunched up, and he was clearly annoyed. Why hadn't that woman come?
"Do you have any other instructions, Young Master Elliott? If not, I'll get back to work," Denise said. She'd been working with him for years, and she knew he never randomly asked for things. He had a reason.
"Where's the woman who delivered the coffee? Tell her to come in," Kellan said calmly.
That unreliable woman had said she'd bring his clothes back. So where were they? He really wanted to ask her himself.
Denise was puzzled. In the past, when all those rich socialites came, the CEO would kick them out without even looking. Why was today so different?
She glanced toward the young woman outside. She had a face full of makeup and didn't look that special. In fact, she seemed kind of shallow.
"The CEO wants to see you," Denise said coldly, pointing at Stella.
"The CEO wants to see me?!" Stella was stunned at first, then completely lit up like she'd just won the lottery.
She didn't know how old the CEO was, but obviously anyone in his position had to be loaded.
She didn't care either way, she wasn't working at a café for fun. She was here to find a rich husband.
"CEO, you wanted to see me?" Stella asked sweetly as she stepped into the office, her voice filled with fake charm.
She had made sure her body looked perfect in her tight uniform, and with the makeup she'd carefully applied, she was sure she looked irresistible.
Her eyes sparkled with greed as she stared at the man in front of her, smiling from ear to ear.
She almost drooled.
Oh my god, this man is so hot.
His face looked like it had been drawn straight out of a manga, perfect features, sharp eyebrows, a straight nose, and that powerful, noble aura.
He looked like a prince, and it made her want to throw herself at him right then and there.
He's so handsome...the most handsome person she's ever seen. Even celebrities didn't compare. He was like a real-life prince!
Could he actually be into her?
Stella thought about it and immediately stood up straighter, puffing out her chest confidently.
Meanwhile, Kellan was still thinking about how to mess with that woman named Rachel, the one who said she'd return his clothes but never showed up.
Just as he looked up, he saw Stella's face covered in heavy makeup, and all his excitement disappeared.
His mood instantly dropped, and his eyes filled with irritation.
"Get out," Kellan growled, his voice deep and cold like a demon straight out of hell. Stella shivered from head to toe.
This man's presence was way too strong.
She tried not to be scared, but the way he looked at her with those intense eyes, it seriously felt like she'd catch fire if she didn't get out fast.
In the open office outside, the employees working overtime heard the CEO's angry voice and glanced nervously at each other.
His bad temper?
Yeah, totally normal. Still, everyone worked faster so they wouldn't be the next target.
Stella didn't get mad.
She figured the CEO only acted like that because they weren't close, yet. From now on, she'd deliver coffee personally so she could see him more often.
She was still annoyed that Rachel had slipped away, but now it seemed like Rachel wasn't as lucky as she thought.
Stella couldn't help but feel pleased with herself.
The CEO was really that handsome.
If she could land someone like him, even as a low-level employee, she'd be rolling in wealth and status.
Stella thought about it happily as she left.

Back inside the office, Kellan sipped his coffee but couldn't stop thinking about that piece of torn clothing.
Usually, he never wasted a second on stuff that didn't matter, but for some reason… that outfit was bugging him.
He got up and walked expressionlessly into the lounge, flopped onto the soft bed, and closed his eyes lazily.
His facial features were so perfect, it looked like someone carved them with a blade.
With his eyes shut, he suddenly remembered Rachel's bright, clear eyes.
They looked like mountain spring water, clean, pure, and impossible to forget. Annoyed, he opened his eyes again.
Outside, the racks were filled with the latest luxury fashion brands.
But that woman... she actually picked one of the cheaper outfits. Did she go through every single tag to compare prices?
Just imagining how awkward she must've felt while changing clothes made Kellan smirk.
He suffered from really bad insomnia. In fact, the only two times he'd ever fallen asleep so fast were: one night five years ago… and twice in her car.
Kellan sighed and closed his eyes again to try and rest.
A few minutes later, his private phone rang.
Only a few people in the world had that number.
He slowly opened his eyes and glanced at the screen.
Rachel.
Seeing the name pop up made his cold expression soften just a little. This was the number he'd saved back when Rachel helped him find that info.
Yesterday, on impulse, he had even given her his number.
Why was she calling now?
Maybe she'd been busy all day and only now found time to return his clothes?
He answered the phone, sounding a little smug. His deep, magnetic voice had a relaxed tone to it.
"Hello."
"Something's wrong! One of your employees, Faith, from the front desk!" Rachel's voice came through, fast and anxious.
