Unboxed Desires and a Bold Invitation

"Are these my things?" I gasped as Rhys Warner pulled out a thick criminology textbook from one of the unmarked boxes.

We'd spent the last hour cautiously opening the mysterious packages that had filled our apartment, only to discover they weren't threats or strange gifts from admirers. Most were actually my belongings from university, along with a few welcome packages from the academy.

I hugged the familiar book to my chest, feeling a strange mix of relief and nostalgia. "It was my favorite class. I was actually good at it."

"Makes sense why you're so quick to analyze all of us," Silas remarked from where he sat cross-legged on the floor, methodically unpacking another box.

"Speaking of analyzing," I said, "how did my stuff even get here? Last I checked, all my belongings were still in my dorm room."
