By the time I reached the fitness class, my head was spinning. Less than a week ago, I'd been a normal college student with normal problems. Now I was a supernatural being with five potential soulmates and powers I couldn't control. The word "overwhelming" didn't even begin to cover it.
"Earth to Hazel," Lyra chirped, snapping her fingers in front of my face. "You totally zoned out there."
"Sorry," I mumbled, blinking back to reality inside the girls' changing room. "Just... processing."
"I get it," she said, already pulling her top over her head. "First week as a Grey is rough. It gets better."
I wasn't convinced. Especially when I realized I'd forgotten something crucial.
"Shit," I muttered, digging through my bag. "I don't have gym clothes."
Lyra's eyes widened in horror. "Oh no. You'll have to wear the kit of shame!"
"The what now?"
