Chapter 24: It's Her (Part 1)

"Why wait until the fifth movement to learn other skills? Can't I start now if they don't need a strong physique?" Ji Feng asked the Intelligent Brain, curiosity piqued.

"Master," the Intelligent Brain explained, "in the Gamma Galaxy, the first five movements are designed to enhance body flexibility. While they also improve physical fitness, the effect is subtle. Your noticeable progress is due to your initially weak physique. Once you master these five movements, your flexibility and fitness will meet the baseline for learning other skills."

Ji Feng frowned, unconvinced. "How do etiquette or mechanics relate to physical fitness? Can't someone with a weak body learn manners?"

The Intelligent Brain replied patiently, "Physical fitness and flexibility are critical. Take weapons, for example. To qualify as proficient with a basic laser gun, you must disassemble and reassemble it within three seconds. One second is good; half a second is excellent. This demands precise, uncommon movements that rely on flexibility. Or consider transportation: an elite agent must not only drive various vehicles but also understand their mechanics, even assembling one if needed. That requires coordinated limbs and precise finger movements, all tied to physical fitness. On Earth, with its limited technology, building a vehicle is labor-intensive. Without a strong foundation, it's impossible."

Ji Feng nodded, realization dawning. Physical fitness was the cornerstone of everything. Without it, becoming an elite agent was out of reach.

"Don't worry, Master," the Intelligent Brain added, sensing his eagerness. "With your effort, you'll master the first five movements in two weeks. Then you can start other skills. The later movements are far tougher, but if you persist, your abilities will be extraordinary."

"I get it," Ji Feng said, his body contorted in a bizarre pose—stomach pressed to the ground, feet arched over his shoulders, hands twisted backward, sweat beading on his forehead. "These five movements are the foundation for becoming a super agent, right?"

"Exactly, Master," the Intelligent Brain confirmed.

"Two weeks? I can handle that!" Ji Feng gritted his teeth, pushing through the strain.

The night passed swiftly. As dawn broke, Ji Feng's consciousness withdrew from his mind. Far from exhausted, he felt energized, brimming with strength.

He clenched his fist, thrilled. Though he hadn't fully mastered the second movement, his physical strength had noticeably improved.

Ji Feng slipped out quietly, careful not to wake his mother, who faced a long day of work.

On his way to school, he sprinted at full speed—and was stunned. Normally, the trip took ten minutes, even at a run. Today? Three minutes.

It felt like flying, the wind rushing past him.

"The exercises from the Intelligent Brain are incredible!" Ji Feng muttered, elated.

With few people at school, he hit the playground track, running over twenty laps—roughly five kilometers. When he stopped, he was barely sweating, his face only slightly flushed. For an average athlete, a 5,000-meter run would leave them gasping and drenched. Ji Feng's breathing remained steady.

"This is just the second movement. What'll it be like after all five in two weeks?" he wondered, pumping his fist. Checking the time, he dashed to the classroom.

The room was mostly empty, so Ji Feng pulled out a textbook and read. His photographic memory was astounding—everything he read, whether familiar or new, imprinted in his mind like a movie, never fading.

He was confident that within two weeks, alongside mastering the five movements, he'd finish all his textbooks. With nearly a year left, he could review and apply the knowledge flexibly. Getting into his dream university was now within reach.

Zhang Lei appeared, leaning in. "Madman, that jerk Xu Mo hasn't bothered you again, has he?"

Ji Feng grinned. "After a warning from *you*, the prince, would he dare?"

Zhang Lei laughed awkwardly. "You know about that, huh?"

"Damn it!" Ji Feng teased, feigning anger. "You tricked me, acting like some delinquent when you're the county secretary's son *and* Tong Lei's brother. You jerk!"

Zhang Lei grinned sheepishly. "Madman, hear me out—I had no choice!"
