週末の始まり、嵐の予感

(Shūmatsu no Hajimari, Arashi no Yokan – The Weekend Begins – Five Girls, One House, and Zero Peace)

It was supposed to be a quiet weekend.

Ren Takahashi had been looking forward to a calm two-day break from school. He planned to sleep in, catch up on some anime, maybe finally finish that RPG he'd been stuck on since last summer.

But fate—and five overly attached girls—had very different plans.

"EHHHH!? You mean we're all staying over at Ren's place!?" Emi shouted, eyes wide.

Yui grinned, poking his side. "What's wrong, Ren? Scared your harem's getting too bold?"

"It's not a harem!" he protested. "And who even agreed to this!?"

Haruka crossed her arms. "Your mom did. She said it's okay as long as we behave."

"Which we absolutely won't," Rika added with a wicked smirk.

Mei, ever quiet, simply looked at Ren and said, "I brought snacks."

And just like that, his weekend was hijacked.

By Saturday evening, the house was a battlefield of noise and competition.

Yui insisted on using the living room TV to watch romantic dramas, even though Rika wanted to play horror games. Haruka kept glaring at anyone who got too close to Ren, while Emi followed him around like a lost puppy.

Mei? Mei somehow disappeared into the kitchen and emerged with perfectly made mochi, earning everyone's approval—and Ren's quiet admiration.

But under all the chaos, something warm filled Ren's heart.

These girls, as exhausting as they were, had become part of his daily life. He looked around the crowded room full of bickering and laughter and thought:

"Maybe... this isn't so bad after all."

Little did he know, the real storm was just beginning.
