A place outside the stars.
Beyond the concepts of time.
Where reality no longer whispered, but knelt.
In the Hall of Fate, only one presence reigned supreme:
The Supreme Lord of Fate — the being that watched all timelines, all potential, all futures.
The great hourglass behind the throne spun in every direction, suspended in endless gravity-defying motion. Countless threads of destiny pulsed and danced in his dominion.
And before him knelt a figure cloaked in void, his form flickering with unstable edges—like his existence was being rewritten every second.
> "He... returned our Archenemy," the voided figure said, his voice shaking.
The Lord of Fate didn't speak. His many eyes remained closed, hands resting on his lap. But the chamber trembled. The hourglass paused.
A whisper, heavy like collapsing stars, drifted from Fate's unseen mouth.
> "Impossible."
> "I saw it with my own eyes," the voided one insisted. "The Forbidden Foundation—the heart of the God of Consuming Echoes—it was rooted in the girl... and he tore it out."
The Lord of Fate slowly rose from his throne.
> "Ryu Arc…" he spoke the name, not with anger or reverence—but with dread.
The name rippled across the multiverse.
The void figure flinched.
Even Fate had not dared utter that name for thousands of cycles.
> "He was not meant to return," Fate whispered. "We… sealed him beyond the Ninth Thread."
> "Then why did the God choose him as the vessel?" the cloaked one asked.
Fate's voice became heavier, quieter. Almost human.
> "Because the God knew what we refused to believe…"
> "That Ryu Arc is not just a warrior."
> "He is a Singularity."
---
The cloaked figure stepped back, trembling.
> "Then... what do we do?"
For the first time in eons, the Lord of Fate opened his eyes.
Seven of them, glowing gold.
Each reflected a different version of Ryu:
Ryu as a king.
Ryu as a destroyer.
Ryu as a God.
Ryu as a martyr.
Ryu consumed.
Ryu resurrected.
Ryu erased.
> "We do not act."
> "Because the moment we interfere…"
He looked toward the threads, where one strand had turned black, radiating uncertainty.
> "He will choose a path that even I cannot see."
---
Back in the mortal world, Ryu held Caline and Rever close.
Unaware that every plane of existence had just spoken his name again.
And not with reverence.
Not with fear.
But with preparation.
