Jack wasn't kidding.
Friday really is a good day to get divorced.
First thing in the morning, Anderson showed up at the courthouse entrance with the signed divorce papers.
Katelyn was right behind him, practically glowing.
The moment they walked out after signing the last document, she latched onto Anderson's arm tightly:
"Ava, thanks for letting me have Anderson."
"I just didn't expect you to completely ignore five years of marriage and make him walk away with nothing."
"But don't you worry, we're going to be very happy together."
Katelyn's hand gently caressed her stomach:
"I'm already pregnant with Anderson's baby."
I recalled they were childhood buddies. "You and Anderson go back... what, twenty years now, right?"
"Of course." Katelyn lifted her chin proudly. "Going by how long we've known each other, you're the interloper."
"I was just taking back what was rightfully mine."
