Smoke still lingered in the sky, its dark tendrils swirling above the ruins of what was once a bustling part of New York City. Cries of panic echoed in the distance, the screams of civilians clashing with the metallic roar of collapsing structures. The city's defenders were scattered across the battlefield, fighting desperately to contain the monstrous ant army unleashed by the Celestials.
Amidst this chaos, two figures stood like titans locked in combat—Arjun and Balokeru. The air around them pulsed with raw energy. Golden light clashed with crimson aura as their fists remained locked, each struggling to overpower the other. Their collision had created a shockwave so intense that the ground beneath them had cracked and trembled.
From a distance, Kavya and Reyansh watched the clash, worry etched on their faces. The tension in their eyes mirrored the ruin around them. They stood atop a building barely holding together, scanning the battlefield with clenched jaws.
The dust around the fighters slowly began to clear.
Arjun roared. His eyes blazed gold. With a surge of divine strength, he pushed Balokeru backward, and in a blur, unleashed the Vajra Fist. His punch connected with Balokeru's face, sending the celestial general flying through buildings like a cannonball. Concrete shattered, glass rained down.
Without wasting a moment, Arjun shot up into the air and descended like divine judgment, sword aimed straight for Balokeru. But the general was quick. His blackened claws met Arjun's blade, and the resulting clash sent sparks across the ruined skyline.
They didn't stop.
Fists, blades, and claws blurred into arcs of golden and red lightning. They were too fast for normal human eyes. To onlookers, it seemed like flashes of light, golden light vs Crimson Red light were colliding at unimaginable speeds—two celestial forces warring amidst the broken heavens.
Kavya clasped her hands and whispered, "Come on, Arjun. You can do it."
Reyansh gritted his teeth and turned to her. "Arjun's doing his job. It's time we do ours."
Without another word, they dove into battle against the remaining ant monsters, blades spinning and spear glowing with fierce energy.
---
High above, perched on a building's edge, a figure watched silently.
A young boy, no more than twelve, stood calmly. Blonde hair swayed in the wind. His yellow pupils gleamed with interest, reflecting the battle below. Dressed in a luxurious, almost royal outfit, he looked out of place among the chaos—but not unaware. He observed every movement.
Back on the battlefield, another explosive clash forced Arjun and Balokeru apart again. They landed hard, sliding backward. Arjun plunged his sword into the cracked street to halt his momentum. Sweat streamed down his face. His breathing was ragged.
Balokeru wasn't as shaken. Though blood dripped from minor wounds, he still stood tall, cracking his neck. He grinned widely.
"Hahaha! I never thought I'd enjoy myself this much. You, little human—what's your name?"
Arjun blinked, momentarily confused by the question.
With a firm expression, he replied, "My name is Arjun."
"Arjun..." Balokeru tasted the name with satisfaction. "A fine name. You're among the few warriors who have ever entertained me in battle. I'll remember you until my last breath."
Without warning, Balokeru vanished.
In an instant, he was in front of Arjun. Arjun's eyes widened.
Slash!
Crimson blood sprayed into the air as Balokeru's claws raked across Arjun's chest.
Balokeru raised his claws again to finish the job—
But a sudden, blinding energy of blue colour struck the ground between them.
BOOM!
Balokeru recoiled, barely avoiding the impact. He landed several meters away, scanning for the new presence.
A boy had jumped into the fray.
Arjun collapsed to his knees, coughing blood. The boy hurried to his side, uncorking a vial of glowing liquid.
"Drink this," he said.
Arjun took it, confused. "Who... are you?"
Balokeru snarled, eyes narrowing. "Who dares interfere in my battle?!"
The boy rose to his feet, lightning crackling around him.
"I am the protector of justice. My name is Rohan."
System Notification: Chosen candidate found. Rohan. Divine Blessing of Vayu Dev (God of Air) – Fully Awakened.
Balokeru's grin twisted. "You dare spoil my mood?!"
He lunged. But Rohan smiled.
With blinding agility, he dodged the attack and, in the same breath, delivered a double kick to Balokeru's chest.
CRACK!
Balokeru was hurled back.
Even Arjun was stunned. "System, how is he that fast?!"
System: He possesses the blessing of Vayu Dev. His speed mirrors the wind.
What followed was a dazzling storm of wind and motion. Rohan moved like a blur, attacking relentlessly. Balokeru growled in frustration as he failed to keep up.
In 1 minute and 42 seconds, Rohan landed 165 precise strikes, forcing the general to stagger.
Finally, Rohan launched a full-force punch into Balokeru's stomach.
But Balokeru smiled.
BOOM!
A massive explosion ripped through the battlefield.
Rohan was blown away.
Arjun darted forward and caught him mid-air, his eyes wide in shock. "System, what just happened?!"
System: Balokeru detonated energy at the point of contact. A suicidal countermeasure.
Arjun stared at the bloodied, maniacally grinning general. "He's not just powerful... he's insane."
Rohan was unconscious. Arjun laid him down gently and stood.
His aura flared golden again. He faced Balokeru with narrowed eyes.
Balokeru grinned. "Ready to finish this?"
Arjun didn't respond. He stepped forward.
A chill ran down Balokeru's spine.
They charged.
Collide with eachother again. Countless Punches and kicks. They are attacking each other non stop and with full Fury. From thier attacks powerful shockwaves generated.
The resulting shockwaves shattered windows, tore through the concrete, and cracked steel.
The city trembled.
Arjun and Balokeru steps backward. Then with full rage charge at each other.
Arjun: Divine Fist Crusher
Balokeru: Darkness Impact
They are going to collide but,
Suddenly—
A deafening thunderclap shattered the sky.
A bolt of divine lightning struck between the two warriors, blasting them apart.
Everyone froze.
Civilians looked up. A glimpse of hope appears in their eyes. They all cheered. And screams with joy. Soldiers lowered their weapons.
A strange sense of calm fell over the battlefield.
Rohan gasped. "That thunder... it's him."
Aircrafts descended. Their hulls bore a silver insignia—the symbol of the Lightning Guild.
"That's their logo," Reyansh pointed. "Which means..."
From the heart of the lightning, a man emerged.
White suit. Spiked black hair. Hands in his pockets. His eyes glowed with radiant blue electricity.
Reyansh screamed, "It's Alex Wilson! The Guild Master of the Lightning Guild!"
---
Alex walked forward with calm confidence. A smirk played across his lips.
Balokeru roared and launched a massive punch.
SWISH.
Alex tilted his body slightly. The punch missed.
Without removing his hands from his pockets, Alex struck Balokeru with a single kick.
Then, casually raising one hand, he muttered:
"Thunder of Destruction."
A thunderbeam roared from his palm.
BOOM!
The beam tore through buildings, the ground, and air, carving holes through seven high-rises before slamming Balokeru into a distant crater.
When the dust cleared, Balokeru was barely standing. One eye destroyed. Blood pouring from his mouth.
Alex approached, calm and unreadable.
Balokeru looked toward Arjun. "You... Arjun..."
Both Alex and Arjun raised an eyebrow.
Balokeru spat blood. "I don't care how powerful you are, lightning boy. You interfered in my battle."
He turned to Arjun. "You are lucky to survive. Only Few ever do after facing me. Today's battle ends in a draw. But next time... it won't."
Alex raised his hand again, forming a thunder arrow.
"You talk too much, insect."
But Balokeru opened a portal and vanished just before the arrow could strike.
Alex clicked his tongue. "Coward."
Arjun walked up and bowed slightly. "Thank you... for saving us."
Alex waved it off. "It's my duty."
A soldier approached. "Guild Master, we've cleared the ant army."
"Good. Let's move out."
As Alex turned to leave, he glanced back at Arjun, who was now surrounded by Kavya and Reyansh.
He smirked. "Arjun... interesting."
Then he left from their with his team. The Soldiers bow in respect. Civillians cheered with joy.
---
Arjun turned to Rohan, who was sitting up slowly.
"Hey, kid. You're strong. Blessed by a god like us. Want to join our team?"
Rohan smiled faintly. "I don't usually join teams... but something tells me I should."
Reyansh ruffled his hair. "Little kid's got sharp words."
They all laughed.
Arjun looked up at the sky. In his heart, a vow formed.
Next time, I'll win. Balokeru.
---
Far away, in a darkened realm, Balokeru sat on a throne. Wounded, but smiling.
In his hand, a painting of Arjun.
"I'm waiting for our next battle... Arjun."
