She’s the queen bee of her high school—gorgeous, popular, and impossible to ignore.
He’s the broken boy from another world, carrying more silence than secrets and a past he doesn’t remember.
They were never meant to like each other… but fate has other plans when the mysterious, brooding, and totally unreadable guy, Angelus transfers into Kelsey Bauer’s world, her world turned upside down. He moves into her house. Joins her school. And worst of all? He doesn’t care who she is.
Kelsey, used to being the queen of attention, instantly became hateful towards him. He’s rude. Emotionless. A total vibe killer. But Angelus isn’t just another pretty face with attitude. He’s someone who has lost everything—his family, his memory, and even his will to live.
She wants him gone. He wants disappear.
But when hatred burns too hot, it doesn’t always turn to ash—sometimes, it sparks something far more dangerous.
Two broken souls, one dangerous attraction - all while dangers lurks behind, ready to unleash its claw.
This is actually pretty interesting... it's just so misleading at the beginning, but then I'd realized it's actually the two opposite characters that the author is trying to depict...which is very badass imo. It looks slow paced...well, we're in chapter 6 and it's still the second day of the story... but it's moving quite well. For now, I'm loving it. Hopefully, the author doesn't disappoint.
