Marvel: Shadow Monarch
Lucien Reynolds found himself in the Marvel world after Wanda stripped the powers of majority of the Mutant population.
With the sudden reduction in the mutant population , the world felt that the mutants were no longer a threat, so the remaining two hundred or so mutants were moved to a safe place.
Fortunately for Lucien, he kept his mutation, but unfortunately for him, he was taken into a research facility, where he found himself trapped until one day he was chosen to be the next Shadow Monarch.

Author's Promises:
This won't be a usual Marvel Fanfic. I have taken some of the best storylines the Marvel Comics had to offer and I have done soo much world building that everything would be aligned and would make perfect sense as the story goes on.
I will not be adding much multiverse stuff in this fanfic, cause one wrong chapter and the story is ruined. Though there will be a few instances and references.
There will be some strong entities that will be used in this fanfic, but nothing without logic that the comic writers sometimes pull like- "Oh there's a being that can erase planets with a snap of his fingers, has killed celestials! But he gets defeated by a street level hero! Cool Right?" , Nah, not cool.
I will make sure the chapters remain of good quality and immersive.
Current Aim for chapter publishing is to publish one chapter everyday. But I shall provide you at least five chapters/week at the very least even if I am busy.
The starting setting of the fanfic is post M-Day event where Wanda strips powers of most mutants.
I do not wish to spoil you much lest it ruins your experience, but here are three comic series whose events will unfold in my fic.
-Civil War 1(Not the MCU version but rather the comic series one which was on a bigger scale)
-The War of the Realms
-King in Black

Probably the only Marvel fic that does not follow the usual trope. The characters are coming pretty solid till now, and obviously the MC becoming the next Shadow Monarch is indeed getting me excited. Overall, love it

Finally a marvel fanfic based on comics , always wanted this type of fic cause MCU don’t have enough plots to keep up with a reincarnated MC also please No-Harem if you really did based this fic on comics cause then MC have to wonder when he’s going to die because one of them or all of them lol are going to kill him .
This isn't for me, same brain-dead tropes we've seen countless times. Nothing original. Three stars only for the author's effort, not the story.
Good start for now, all my knowledge on shadow monarch stuff comes from that fanfics. I skip all the dungeon stuff since I am capativated by the story and not the fights
Updating review: pretty good, the only bad thing is the really small size of chapters, so I'm dropping fic until it will have at least 40-50 of them.
Before i give my formal review. First, I would like to commend the author. Good job author! The story is great, though at first it's look like cliche. Same power leveling system like any other SL fanfics, but what do you expect? The title is Shadow Monarch derived from SL. What to expect? Story Development/Update Stability: The pacing is relatively normal, though it looks incredibly slow because of low chapters. My advice for author is to increase the words 2k per chapter or give task to us reader like 1k power stone for extra chapter. Of course, expecting that if you still go for 1 chapter a day. Character Design: For solo leveling element you will expect a lot of Aura farming or emo mc. But, so far the mc of this fic is fine as hell, no cringe moments or lone wolf mentality. The romance is also progressing smoothly with no force affection, like love at first sight or unnecessary attraction outside of their charachter. Smooth flow of conversation no awkwardness. Writing quality: I'm not expert in english grammar as it's my 3rd language, but for me it's readable with no confusing or deep words. World background: As this is marvel world and a marvel fan, i can say this is unique. Everything is in place with my canon knowledge, but I'm not saying it's copy paste with the original. I'm saying it's a unique blend between the movie and the comics with a different perspective, which what you will expect because we have a different mc here. I also hope he can travel to SL universe using the dungeon. Overall, it's a five star for me👍 Once again, Well done author! Keep up the good work😁
