Le Yao has always had one weakness — the Captain of the National Ice Hockey Team.

Who wouldn’t? He’s handsome, charismatic, her ultimate idol.

Since she was twelve, Le Yao has loyally occupied the bleachers, not because she knows the game — honestly, she barely understands the rules — but simply to admire him. The Captain. Her Captain.



So when an opportunity finally arises for her to accompany the team for their brand’s photoshoot, she leaps at it, convincing Teacher Shen to let her join as part of her junior designer internship. This was her golden chance to see her idol up close!



But then he appeared.



The young prodigy of the team — arrogant, annoyingly handsome, and completely too aware of how much he gets under her skin. Somehow, instead of fawning over her beloved Captain, she finds herself constantly entangled with this troublemaker, who seems to enjoy making her flustered at every turn.



At last, when the shoot wraps up, Le Yao breathes a sigh of relief.



Finally, no more unexpected and expected encounters.



At least, that’s what she thought.



With marriage discussions looming — and having never been in a relationship before — Le Yao had calmly laid out her conditions to her parents for the prospective suitor:



Must earn at least as much as she does.



Must be… decently good-looking (preferably more than decent).



Must have a respectable, stable and good personality.





But as she sits at the arranged dinner, expecting a quiet and formal meeting — her eyes widen in disbelief.
