Three Days Later

Logan's POV

"Eat this." Julian handed her a chocolate bar, and she took it without protest. She hadn't spoken much these past few days, but she'd been surprisingly obedient. Her behavior was a little unexpected and very surprising.

We were no longer at the hospital—she'd been discharged a few hours earlier. Now, we were staying at one of our penthouses in the city. We figured moving her out of the pack would be better for her mental health. And it was the right decision.

"And take these, too," Thatcher also offered her a plate of homemade cookies, which she accepted as well. She's eating well, great!

"If you get hungry, ring the bell. We'll give you some space, okay?" Julian said gently, a soft smile on his face.

"Okay," she muttered, nodding her head.

We quietly left her room and gathered in the sitting room.

"She looks healthier," Thatcher observed with a sigh.
