The Ying Yang Transference Technique

Qin Ying never had any contact with an unknown man. She hesitated for a while before steeling her resolve, knowing there could be a worse situation. Soon, she would lose all rationality and attack Mu Yan; it would be better to hold hands. Shyly, she placed her hands in Mu Yan's outstretched hands. "Let's start before it's too late," Mu Yan said, pulling Qin Ying out of her trance.

Focusing on regulating his technique, Mu Yan began circulating his energy along the meridians and pathways as described in the Yin-Yang Transference technique. This was a high-level technique, even in his past life, designed to balance and channel extreme energies. With his immense knowledge, Mu Yan innately understood how to adapt it to the nascent spiritual energy of this Lower World. Seeing Mu Yan focusing, Qin Ying also started regulating the exercise. Once the technique reached a balance, Yang Qi was slowly extracted from Mu Yan's body and transferred to Qin Ying through his left hand, while Yin Qi was fed to Mu Yan through his left hand. This essentially formed a yin-yang cycle. Slowly, both reached a trance, unknowingly, where they were unaware of reality. Day turned into night, and minutes stretched into hours.

Two days passed before Mu Yan woke up to the sound of something breaking inside him. It wasn't a painful rupture, but a soft, almost imperceptible shift, like a fragile shell cracking to reveal something profound. When he checked, he noticed a comfort spreading throughout his body, and a deep sense of grounding filled him. This was the unmistakable sign. The accumulated and refined Yin Qi, channeled through the unique dual-cultivation method, had finally converged and condensed within his lower abdomen. It had solidified into a swirling, stable vortex of spiritual energy—his Dantian! This was the very first step, the formation of the 'Qi Sea', officially marking his return to the martial path. He had completed the Qi Condensation stage.

****Qi condensation- no stages, the very first step in cultivation where a mortal begins to sense and absorb spiritual energy (Qi) from the environment into their body, typically forming a 'Qi Sea' or 'Dantian'.**

The very next wave of energy, converted from Qin Ying's abundant Yin Qi, continued to surge into his newly formed Dantian. This fresh influx immediately pressured his internal foundation, refining and expanding it further, pushing him past the initial threshold. This led to Mu Yan's successful breakthrough into the Foundation Establishment state. With this advancement, a profound change rippled through his physical being. The robust spiritual energy from his Dantian began to powerfully scour his body, searching for latent pathways that were blocked naturally. In the Foundation Establishment stage, a cultivator's strength isn't just about raw power; it's intricately tied to the Nadis (energy channels/meridians). Each successful unlocking of a latent meridian results in an increase in strength and circulation of Qi throughout the body. A human body typically possesses Ten Prana Nadis (Main Meridians) and 108 Upana Nadis (Lesser Meridians), each a vital pathway for the flow of Prana (Qi). Ten Prana Nadis are essential for the future cultivation pathway, with each Prana nadi being unlocked, pushing you closer to the next step. Once ten Pran nadis are unlocked, they form a natural cycle of Qi circulation within the body. 108 Upana Nadis facilitate easier circulation and distribution to each point of the body.

Mu Yan's breakthrough into Foundation Establishment Stage 1 signified the successful unsealing of his first Prana Nadi: the Ida Nadi (Lunar Channel, governing calm and intuition). The immediate flow of Qi through the newly vitalized channel invigorated his muscles and bones, marking a tangible leap in physical might. As a cultivator progressed through Foundation Establishment, they would sequentially unlock the remaining nine Prana Nadis:

Pingala Nadi (Solar Channel, governing vigor and action)

Sushumna Nadi (Central Channel, governing balance and spiritual ascent)

Gandhari Nadi (Governing clarity of sight and perception)

Hastajihva Nadi (Enhancing precision and dexterity)

Kuhu Nadi (Strengthening internal organs and metabolic functions)

Payaswini Nadi (Boosting endurance and lower body stability)

Pūṣā Nadi (Refining internal energy and subtle senses)

Saraswati Nadi (Improving vocal power and communication skills)

Sankhini Nadi (Aiding in expulsion of impurities and energetic purification)

Each Prana Nadi contributes unique enhancements to the body and spirit, linking directly to vital functions and fundamental aspects of cultivation, from enhanced vitality and resilience to improved agility and spiritual perception. Beyond these, the 108 Upana Nadis were typically unlocked in clusters during the later stages of Foundation Establishment. These clusters, each containing approximately 15 to 18 Nadis, refined specific body regions or cultivation aspects.

Focusing on Qin Ying, he noticed it would take her longer to wake up; she was near her next breakthrough. The energy surrounding her was unstable, which was a sign of an impending breakthrough. He couldn't ascertain her cultivation stage; it seemed masked by some artifact or method. He was certain that she possessed significantly more power than himself. Judging by her attire, he could confidently deduce that she hailed from a prominent family. Releasing her hands, he retreated and settled down to consolidate his advancement.

Foundation Establishment mainly concentrated on strengthening the body and priming it for cultivation, with each subsequent stage opening more Nadis, allowing for even greater Prana circulation and physical augmentation. The strength in this state was measured by Jin and oxen. Assessing his situation, Mu Yan noticed his strength had increased after breaking through to Foundation Establishment Stage 1 from 10 Jin to 50 Jin. Mu Yan's body was not nourished well, so he was below average in terms of strength when compared to well-fed and trained human beings. On average, normal human strength was between 15-30 Jin, depending on how they trained. Some exceptional people can reach up to 40 Jin. Currently, Mu Yan was in the Foundation Establishment Stage with 50 Jin of normal strength. When attacking, his strength could multiply depending on the fighting technique.
