Chapter 19: Secret Under the Moonlight
The school rooftop was silent. The city lights flickered far in the distance, but up here, the night felt like a secret. The moon was high—round, soft, silver—and the wind gently tousled Yuu's hair as he leaned against the railing, heart still pounding from everything that happened earlier.
Aya and Rika. In that locked room.
Their bodies, their heat, their wild competition.
It was intense. Messy. Overwhelming.
And yet, even now, the taste of their desire still lingered on his skin.
He didn't come up here to escape them.
He came because someone else told him to.

1 Hour Earlier — A Whisper in the Hallway
"Meet me tonight. Rooftop. After dark."
The note was folded delicately, slipped under his desk when no one was looking. The handwriting? Elegant. Soft, but bold.
He knew who it was instantly.
Misaki.
The quietest girl in class. The girl who rarely spoke… but always watched. Her dark eyes had followed him for months. Never demanding. Never begging. Just present.
And tonight… she was calling him.
---
Back to the Present — Rooftop Moonlight
"...You came," came a soft voice behind him.
Yuu turned. Misaki stepped out from the rooftop door, bathed in moonlight. Her long, dark hair shimmered like silk in the wind. She wasn't in her uniform anymore. A soft, white cardigan wrapped around her petite figure, with a short navy skirt underneath. No makeup. Just her. Pure and real.
He blinked. "Misaki…"
She stepped closer, her eyes shy but unafraid.
"I heard what happened," she said, brushing her fingers along the cold metal railing. "With Rika. With Aya."
Yuu looked away, unsure what to say.
Misaki didn't need him to say anything.
"I know I'm not like them," she whispered. "Not bold. Not loud. I don't fight. I don't push."
She stepped closer.
"But I feel things too, Yuu. Deeply."
His heart skipped.
"I watch you… because I care about you. Even when no one else does. I remember the day you helped that crying girl in the library when everyone ignored her. I remember when you gave your umbrella to that junior in the rain…"
She looked up at him now. Her eyes sparkled under the moonlight—soft and full of longing.
"You're kind. And kind people... they get used, or torn apart. I don't want that to happen to you."
Yuu swallowed hard. Her presence was like a warm breeze—gentle but impossible to ignore.
Then she reached into her cardigan pocket and pulled out a small key.
"This," she whispered, pressing it into his palm, "is the spare key to the photography clubroom. No one uses it anymore. It's quiet. Private. Safe."
Her hand lingered on his.
"If things ever get too loud… too much… meet me there."
A pause. Her voice dropped.
"Even if it's just to rest. Or to be held."
Yuu stared at her, heart tightening.
The other girls had kissed him, claimed him, teased him, even fought over him.
But Misaki…
She offered him peace.
Something shifted.
Then she did something that surprised even him.
She leaned in slowly and kissed his cheek. Not playful. Not teasing.
But tender. Lingering. Intimate.
The kind of kiss that stays.
"Good night, Yuu."
And just like that, she turned and walked away, leaving behind nothing but the scent of warm sakura perfume… and the silver key in his palm.

Later That Night — His Bedroom
He held the key under the moonlight shining through his window. So small. So simple.
But it opened something.
Not just a room.
A new possibility.
A quiet romance.
A hidden connection.
One that bloomed in silence…
Under the moonlight.
