In warehouse-109
"So much for an infiltration" Klein said.
Moving quickly Bjorn knocked out the last of the guards. He was the one who moved to help his teammate but ultimately he couldn't. Not because Klein killed the guy but because they took the other guys out too quick for him to help in any meaningful way.
"Yeah but we got a good fight out of it don't you think." Bjorn smiled.
"I guess sure" Klein dismissed the idea waving his arm. "Anyway we gotta move" He added hurriedly leading the way to the hanger bay where their ship awaited them. As they ran from hallway to hallway Klein made sure to check the cameras around and keep the ones in their path frozen through his screen-pad.
Along the way they heard the other guards as they ran toward the are they had fought in. Finally after a few minutes of running and hiding from guards they made it to the hangar. Opening the double doors Klein and Bjorn walked into a shabby refueling and repairing station. There was the middle-class freighter they were here for. It was truly a sight not an imposing ome but a sight nonetheless. The Star Wanderer sat in the hangar bay set in place by some gravitational anchor mechanism. It was around 100ft long and 75ft tall. It's shape was that of an arrowhead with boosters on the back edges. The back of the ship consisted of the engine rooms, one on each side, and the crew's quarters. The middle was more of a common deck area and the capitan's quarters. The tip of the arrow was the control room and a single gunner station under it with an outdated turret.
Looking at the ship Klein was in awe. Although not the biggest or most impressive ship out there this one would be his. As long as he could get away that is.
With a smile on his face Klein approached the ship and opened its doors through the station it was parked in. With a hiss of air a ramp comes down from the side of the ship. Climbing aboard Klein and Bjorn hurried toward the control room.
As they reached their destination the other two squads enter the hangar bay. Suddenly not just the guards come in but actual FTPA soldiers came in. Not many but enought to give the guards the upper hand here.
Inside the ship Klein saw the military enter through his screen-pad. "Shit! There's soldiers, we need to move fast" He yelled as he quickly took out Lena's head from his bag. Putting her head down on the controls Klein grabbed some wires from his bag and connected them from his screen-pad to Lena's head and from the head to a specific control panel, the capitans.
Inputting some code into his screen-pad Klein worked quickly. His program quickly traveled through the wires and using Lena's processing power it successfully outpace and overthrow FTPA's coding and access. Finally his work had payed off, months of innovation and planning. Everything led to this, now the ship was effectively a new entity. No longer bound by the FTPA authority Klein can use the ship for anything now and it won't flag anything anywhere. He had pretty much transfered ownership of the vessel to himself even in official channels.
"Yes! We did it Bjorn! We're free" Klein beamed, jumping on Bjorn.
Just then the FTPA soldiers started to fire on the ship.
PEWOM PEWOM PEWOM
Shots fired from their blasters hitting the hull of the ship. Overall not much damage but with the numbers they had it wouldn't be long before the damage was too much for the ild ship.
Returning to his senses Klein looked at the situation. More soldiers than they could handle were surrounding their ship all with guns firing at them. The ship was still anchored to the station so he couldn't just speed off without damaging it. He ran toward the gunning station under the control room. "Bjorn stay here and take off full speed when I tell you. If you don't know what to do listen to Lena. She's a pilot droid." Klein ordered as he left.
Reaching his destination Klein opened the glass panel facing a work station in the hangar bay. He grabbed his blaster and changed nozzles to the hacking one and pointed it outward. He fired once and missed. Reloading he thought to himself 'Not good. I only have two more of these. Two chances and it's over'.
Taking a deep breath he steadied his aim before firing once more. His second shot struck true. The pin came flying going over and through crates of storage and landing square on a control panel for the gravitational pull that kept their ship anchored.'Yes!' Klein pumped his fist 'That's what I'm talking about!'
Checking his screen-pad Klein saw that he got control of the anchoring system. With a few deft touches Klein undid their anchor setting their ship free.
"Bjorn now!" He said as the process came to an end.
Suddenly the thrusters blazed. A couple unlucky FTPA soldiers were wounded because of the flames. The others kept up their fire even as the ship blasted off destroying the roof of the warehouse. As the debris fell Officer Brown came into view. "What a mess" He shook his head. "Time to report this to the Colonel. It's gonna be busy from now on."

Sector-067, Xylos Galaxy
In the beat up Star Wanderer Klein, Bjorn and a head sat in the control room.
"We did it! Bjorn our life can start now" Klein laughed.
Bjorn sat next to him smiling. "Seems like just yesterday you were convincing me to leave the guard so we could be free. Who knew we'd pull it off"
"That was a good first step. We've only just started. From now on starts the real challenge" Klein said with a confident smaile.
"Correct" Lena agreed. "The galaxy can be very dangerous is unafilliated territories. That's where the real test will be"
"I can hardly contain myself" Bjorn smiled
"From now on it's the real deal!" Klein exclaimed
