AN OFFER

Seing him engaged in a serious conversation on the phone, she decides not to disturb him and just stand there waiting for him to finish.

"I don't want to sell the company building but I don't have a choice, after my father death the gang members which he had been owing came and destroyed the building, and the money to fix it is way to big, plus I have so many responsibilities on my head, Zhi lan has dropped out of school because they is no money to further her education and my little yanyan is growing up so quickly and her demands are increasing everyday" the man on the phone said with a sigh looking drained.

"At least I know if I sell of this company building, I would give some to Zhi lan to go back to school and the rest would go for yours and yanyan's daily expenditure, I'm sure before it would finish I would have thought of a way out of this mess" he said in a disheartened voice.

His father had died not too long ago, leaving almost everything for his elder brother but after the gangster came and destroyed his father's only company, his brother had sold off all the other properties in his name and ran away leaving just him, his younger sister, his girlfriend Haung Xiao, and and his daughter who he had given birth to from a fling during his university days.

"If they was another way I wouldn't think of selling my father's company but they isn't" he said trying to convince the person on the end of the phone.

"How can I take loan when it brought me into the mess in the first place?" the man continued annoyance in his voice.

"That's enough!, I'm not taking any loan neither I'm I going to leave here without selling the company" he said in a voice a little higher than usual hanging up the call, he placed the phone on the table and started massaging his forehead with his hand trying to calm down.

'Where the hell is she' he thought in his head turning back but a woman in corporate attire suddenly appeared before him.

"Mr Zhi Jie?" she asked walking forward to stand in front of the seat opposite him.

"Yes" he replied, "please have a seat" he said gesturing for her to seat down and she complies.

"Would you like to order anything" he asked trying his best to be as hospitable as he could.

"No thanks" she replied straight away a bit lost in thought after hearing his conversation just now.

"Okay then, let's go check out the building" he replied standing up and she followed suit, taking out his wallet he dropped the bill on the table and they left.

Not long after they had arrived in front of the office building, walking into the building, "this is the company's reception area.." he said as they walked by the receptionist area.

Li yinxun is pleased by the spacious receptionist area, following him as he educates her on the company facilities, after walking round the company she was satisfied with what she saw and felt they was no need to check out the other one, taking out her phone she cancels the appointment with the other agent, turning to Mr Zhi jie.

"There's no need to go further, I think I'm pleased with what I have seen already" she said making him widen his eyes in excitement.

"Really" he said joy evident in his voice.

"Hmmm" she made a sound of affirmation, "now let's discuss the final details and finalize the sales" she replied.

"Sure sure" he said nodding his head happily, "let me contact my lawyer" he said taking out his phone, he made a call and said something to the person on the other end before hanging up.

Turning back to Li yinxun, "why don't we go somewhere and seat while we wait for the lawyer" he said a bit agitated, although he had said he wouldn't leave here without selling the company, he never expected to sell it so fast, and the person was even ready to pay today, wasn't this a miracle, he thought in his head.

"That won't be neccessary, and plus I have something to discuss with you in private before the lawyer comes" Li yinxun said in a serious voice taking a step forward.

Seeing her serious expression he also turned serious, "okay I'm all ears" he replied back in the same level of seriousness.

"I overheard your conversation from earlier about the reason why you want to sell the company" she said not beating around the bush.

Hearing her words, he looked down embarrassed, "that..".

"Selling off the company isn't actually the best idea but since you decided to, I have an offer for you.." she said cutting him off
