. “She Never Loved You”

The falcon descended from the sky, its wings stretched in solemn grace, and landed in the heart of the forest. Branches whispered, and mist crept between the trees, while he circled, speaking softly to himself, like someone searching for something forgotten in a dream.

From between the trees emerged Nora, her steps steady, her gaze sharp.

Nora (tense voice): "We had a deal… I take you to the house, and you tell me what you found at the seer's."

Yousef approached, irritation written across his face, eyes gleaming with secrets.

Yousef (quietly angry): "I found nothing… except that I'm even more confused."

Nora (sharply): "Why?"

He stared at her for a long moment, then coldly replied:

Yousef: "Why should I tell you? I don't even know you."

Nora's face hardened with anger. She turned and walked away.

Nora: "Really? I was the one who led you to the seer's house… I was going to show you the next step, but it seems you don't deserve it."

Yousef (pleading): "Wait… please, help me."

Nora (hurt, turning to him): "Why would I help someone who won't even share what he knows?"

Yousef: "Fine. I'll tell you… just help me."

She studied his face, weighing the truth in his words.

Nora: "Alright. What did you find?"

Yousef (sighing): "Nothing… we just talked."

Nora turned away, her steps heavy with disappointment.

Nora: "Do you think I'm stupid?"

Yousef: "I don't even know what I'm looking for…"

She turned back, searching his eyes for a missing piece.

Nora: "Tell me… what did you talk about? And was she alone?"

Yousef (quietly): "No… there were beings… shadow-like… no faces… and their voices sounded like they were coming through an old telephone speaker."

Nora's eyes narrowed, like a memory stirred within her.

Nora (softly): "The Shadows…"

Yousef: "You know them?"

Nora: "No… but I've read about them in old books."

Yousef: "Then… what's the next step?"

Nora: "We search your office… at the company."

Suddenly, she transformed into a small bird, fluttered briefly, and soared into the sky. Yousef followed, turning into a falcon, and together they flew to the window of a tall building. They entered and returned to their human forms.

The office was luxurious, heavy with the scent of old wood and memories. Everything looked pristine, yet something under the surface trembled.

Yousef stopped in front of the fireplace, staring. His eyes twitched—something resurfaced in his mind like a flash.

Nora (approaching, placing her hand on his shoulder): "Did you remember something?"

Yousef (vaguely): "No… but I don't know why this place feels familiar."

Nora (searching his eyes): "Really?"

Yousef smiled—but not the kind that warms the heart. Something darker flickered behind it, like a shadow passed through his soul.

Yousef: "I'll go… and you?"

Nora: "Alright."

She stood on the window ledge and transformed into a bird again, but didn't fly. She stayed perched, chirping softly, as if to say, "I'll remain… to guard this secret."

Yousef glanced at her for a moment, then leapt from the window, shifting mid-air into a falcon and disappearing into the sky.

He arrived at Judy's house, where he found Noah standing by his car.

In a swift motion, he grabbed him by the neck and flew him off to a remote forest, deep and dark, where no light reached the ground.

He tied him to a tree, standing before him with a cold smile.

Yousef (calmly): "Hello, Noah."

Noah (crying, shaking): "What… what do you want from me?"

Yousef: "Why did you try to kidnap my son?"

Noah (trembling): "It wasn't my idea… Judy… she wanted it… I was just helping her."

Yousef stepped closer, his body beginning to shift—fangs, wolf ears, his voice deepening to something monstrous.

Yousef: "And why help her?"

Noah (voice breaking): "Because I love her… I love her so much…"

Yousef returned to his human form, mocking in tone.

Yousef: "But I doubt she loves you back."

Noah (lowering his head): "I know… but I'm trying."

Evening fell. A fire crackled nearby. Noah wept quietly, tied to the tree, while Yousef sat close, holding a charred stick.

He approached and pressed the hot tip to Noah's chest. He screamed in agony.

Yousef: "No one cares about you."

Then, with a wolf's growl:

Yousef (deep, terrifying voice): "Even if I start eating you from your feet up to your scalp."

Noah (sobbing): "What do you want?! I'll tell you everything—just don't hurt me!"

Yousef: "Why does Judy want my son?"

Noah fell silent… then spit in Yousef's face.

Noah (angrily): "I won't tell you anything about Judy! Kill me—but stay away from her!"

Yousef laughed cruelly.

Yousef: "Oh, Romeo… but you're no Romeo. She doesn't care about you. Even if I killed you, she wouldn't shed a tear."

Noah (breaking down): "Stop…"

Yousef: "Fine. I won't ask about Juliet… What do you know about Daniel?"

Noah (crushed): "The father of the boy you… killed…"

Yousef froze. Then, with a mocking tone:

Yousef: "I killed him? And now he wants to kill me?"

Noah: "I don't know the details…"

Yousef: "Where does he live?"

Noah: "I… I don't know…"

Yousef stepped closer, lit another stick, and burned Noah's shoulder.

Yousef: "When I ask, you answer."

Noah (screaming): "Yes! It's on my phone… the location… the map!"

Yousef took the phone from his pocket, unlocked it, retrieved the coordinates, and set the phone aside on a nearby rock.

Then, he turned into a falcon and took off, Noah's voice echoing behind him:

"Don't leave me! I'm scared of bugs! Yousef—please—don't hurt Judy!"

And there in the terrifying woods, Noah remained… surrounded by darkness and fear.

Love… comes in many forms. But Noah's love for Judy wasn't the good kind.

Love is a mutual connection—but he loved alone, believing pain could win her heart.

And truly, the way we love… says everything about who we are.
