Now, Kaizen must hide the truth, survive among hunters, and face enemies far beyond anything he imagined. Because if the realms find out what he really is...

Hunter Of The Six Realms

"Kaizen, are you talking with someone?" His mother's voice echoed from outside the door as she knocked softly.

Kaizen tensed as he turned towards the door. He didn't talk loudly so how did she hear?

"Talking to someone? What do you mean?" He asked, feigning ignorance. He turned back to where Iroh was supposed to be seated, but he was gone.

Just like that? He could've at least said goodbye.

"Can I come in?" Elen requested from behind the door. She usually always came to check on him before bed time.

Kaizen hurriedly lay back down and pulled the bed cover over his body, pretending like he'd been laying down all along. "Yes."

The wooden door creaked open as Elen walked in, her eyes scanning the room briefly before looking back at Kaizen. "I'm sure I heard you talking, or maybe i heard wrong?" She asked, scratching her head in confusion.
