Chapter 16: The Wolf Attack on Elias

Night had fallen over the city of Elias, and colorful lanterns illuminated its streets. People were busy with their daily lives, unaware of the terrifying threat looming over them. Marcus, engrossed in his training at the secret 'Blood Bound' hideout, felt a strange unease in the air. His keen senses signaled something ominous.

Suddenly, a terrifying scream echoed from the outer walls of the city, followed by loud explosions. This was no ordinary attack. Marcus and the other members of 'Blood Bound' immediately became alert.

"What happened?" Kaelen asked, drawing his sword.

Then, a terrifying roar resonated from the direction of the city's main gate. It was the roar of wolves, but not ordinary ones. Their voices carried a strange cruelty and frenzy.

"Werewolves!" a 'Blood Bound' member shouted.

Marcus's heart pounded. He knew this was no ordinary wolf attack. He felt a strange stir in his inner Anomalous Chi, as if it were somehow connected to these wolves.

Stir in the Royal Court

In the heart of Elias, Emperor Draconius sat in his magnificent palace. He was holding an important meeting when suddenly, the terrifying sounds coming from the city startled him. His advisors became flustered.

"Your Majesty, the city is under attack!" a general cried out, panicking.

Emperor Draconius rose from his seat, lines of concern on his face, but with determination in his eyes. "Who dares to attack Elias?" he roared.

A sorcerer looked into his crystal ball, fear clearly visible on his face. "Your Majesty! It's... it's werewolves! Hundreds of them, attacking the city gates!"

Emperor Draconius clenched his fists. Werewolves! This was a new threat that he had only recently begun to feel. He knew that something had been changing in Alaria since the incident in Lilywood, and now this attack was direct proof of that change.

"Send out the army!" Emperor Draconius commanded, his voice echoing through the palace walls. "Call every soldier of Elias. Kill the wolves! Not a single one should survive! No attack on our capital will be tolerated!"

The royal army immediately sprang into action. Armored soldiers and mages rushed towards the city gates, where the wolves' rampage continued.

Marcus's Dilemma

At the 'Blood Bound' hideout, Marcus and the other members armed themselves. A strange conflict waged in Marcus's mind. These were werewolves, his own kind. But they seemed wild and uncontrolled, as if some cruel power had taken over them. Were these the same werewolves under Emperor Dragor, or someone else?

"Marcus!" Kaelen called out. "We have to go out. The city is in danger."

Marcus nodded. His revenge was against vampires, but he couldn't watch Elias be destroyed. 'Blood Bound' had given him refuge and training. He had to use his new powers to defend the city.

As they surfaced, they saw chaos spreading through the city. Gigantic wolves were running through the city streets, attacking people and destroying buildings. These wolves were not normal; their eyes were red, and a strange, dark energy emanated from their bodies. Marcus felt that these wolves might be controlled by some external force.

Marcus focused his inner Bloody and Anomalous Chi. His eyes began to glow red, and a faint red aura emanated from his body. The 'Blood Bound' members felt the power within him and were astonished. Marcus took a deep breath and prepared for battle. He had to uncover the truth behind this attack and save Elias.

What is the reason for this werewolf attack on Elias? Is Dracula connected to this? How will Marcus confront these wolves, being a werewolf himself?
