My Ex is in my Idol Group

Episode 13: Shadows on the Stage

The peace didn't last — not fully. Not in a world where secrets fed headlines and the truth could be bent to look like betrayal.

The video clip of Seon holding Jaewon's hand outside the agency went viral.

Some fans were supportive. Some were vicious.

Others just whispered one question: "What now?"

---

Inside the agency, things moved quickly.

The board called for emergency meetings. CEO Kim announced a surprise fan meeting to "heal and rebuild trust."

But Seon had a bad feeling. And he wasn't alone.

---

Jun slammed his phone onto the table.

"There's a weird account spreading edited clips of your livestreams," he told Seon. "They're splicing them to look like you threatened Ha-joon."

Minho nodded grimly. "It's coordinated. Hashtags, reposts, even international fan pages being hijacked."

Jaewon clenched his jaw. "This is no fan war. Someone's behind it."

Seon looked at them, calm but firm. "Then let's find out who."

---

Meanwhile, at a luxury apartment in Gangnam, a woman in her early 30s adjusted her earpiece.

Director Yoo of Orion Entertainment — a rival company.

She smiled coldly at her assistant. "Initiate the leaks. Phase One."

"Done, Director. But… why him?"

She watched a paused video of Seon on her screen.

"Because he was theirs. And now he's free. We can't have that."

---

Later that night

The boys gathered in the dorm's living room, phones out, theories flying.

Seo-jin tapped her laptop. "Whoever it is, they're professionals. These aren't just netizens. They're using VPNs, false flags, impersonation bots."

"So they're scared of the truth," Seon said quietly.

Minho looked up. "But scared of what exactly?"

Jun held up his phone. "You might want to see this."

A leaked document. Old trainee evaluation files.

Under Seon's profile: "Subject observed in romantic conduct with fellow male trainee. High risk for brand damage."

The same words used to blacklist him.

Jaewon stood. "That's internal. Only someone in power could've leaked it."

---

Two days later, the fan meeting venue was packed. Security was tight. The mood? Mixed.

As Seon took the stage with the others, flashing lights and chants filled the air. But so did protest signs from a small group near the front.

One sign read: "No lies in idols."

Another: "Disband AX1."

Jaewon looked at Seon, who simply walked to the mic.

"I wasn't always honest," Seon said. "But I was never fake. And I'm not here to fight hate with hate. I'm here to perform. For those who still believe."

The cheers were louder than the boos.

They performed three songs.

But just as the fourth started, the screens behind them glitched.

And a new video played.

Security camera footage. Grainy. Dated two years ago. Showing Seon and Jaewon at the dorm rooftop. Talking. Kissing. Laughing.

A deep voice narrating over it: "The lie they sold you. The scandal they hid."

Chaos erupted.

Fans screamed. Some left. Some cried.

But Seon didn't move. He stood there, still as stone.

Jaewon stepped forward, mic in hand.

"I thought we buried the past. But maybe it's time to sing through it instead."

He nodded at the DJ.

A slow piano track began.

Seon turned to him, startled.

"It's the song we wrote back then," Jaewon whispered.

They sang. Not as an act. Not as idols. As Seon and Jaewon — two boys who had loved, lost, and survived.

By the end, the hall was silent. Then someone clapped. Then many.

---

In the shadows, Director Yoo narro

wed her eyes at her phone screen.

"Phase Two," she said. "Let's see how strong they really are."
