Am I Really the Hero?

Aric, after being chosen to be one of the four heroes by the Empire, tried to defend the Demon Lord with the other heroes but failed. He was the only one spared by the Demon Lord, and after that, he set on a journey to get stronger. But what he will learn and encounter on this journey will make him question which side he should be on, and if he really is the hero who was supposed to defend the Demon Lord.
