Volume 1, Chapter 165: Demon Cultivator Blood Sacrifice— I Sacrifice Demon Cultivators!

"Demon cultivator!"

The moment Lin Yu saw the black-robed warrior, he sensed the surging devil qi emanating from him.

The black-robed demon cultivator charged straight at Lin Yu, slashing out a stream of devil qi with a wild laugh. "Look! I found a Xiantian Realm kid! Come with me!"

The devil qi split into five, grabbing at Lin Yu like black hands.

A cold glint flashed in Lin Yu's eyes. A powerful pressure surged from his body, shattering the devil qi on contact until it vanished.

"What?"

The charging demon cultivator stopped mid-air in horror, staring at Lin Yu in disbelief.

Lin Yu had reeked of Xiantian Realm aura moments ago—how had he suddenly become a Myriad Manifestation Realm Level 9 warrior?

"Not good!"

The demon cultivator exclaimed, turning to flee.

"Come back here!"

Lin Yu reached out, channeling spiritual energy into a giant palm that bound the Myriad Manifestation Realm Level 7 cultivator, dragging him back despite his struggles.

"Speak. Why did you try to capture me?" Lin Yu eyed the demon cultivator coldly. "You'd better cooperate. Don't ask for trouble—I have ways to make you wish you were dead."

"Don't expect a word from me! I'll never betray the Cult Master!" The demon cultivator's face contorted with defiance. "When the Cult Master's plan succeeds, he'll avenge me! You all will die—all of you...!"

Lin Yu shook his head with a chuckle, sending a wisp of spiritual energy into the demon cultivator's body.

Instantly, the cultivator felt thousands of ants gnawing at his meridians, accompanied by unbearable itching and stabbing pain.

"Sto—stop! I'll talk! I'll tell you everything!"

The cultivator knelt and begged after only a moment, unable to endure the torture.

Lin Yu sneered in disdain. Demon cultivators were like this—unwilling to endure honest cultivation, they resorted to quick-fix evil arts. Not to mention the "Ten Thousand Ants Devouring Heart" torture he'd unleashed.

"Speak. Tell me your origin and everything you know." Lin Yu released the torture temporarily, eyeing the demon cultivator coldly.

"I—I'm a member of the Netherworld Cult. The Cult Master brought us to Spirit Mountain World to capture warriors for a blood sacrifice, offering a feast of flesh and blood to the Demon God." The black-robed cultivator revealed the Netherworld Cult Master's plan without hesitation.

"Blood sacrifice..." Lin Yu frowned, then pressed his palm to the cultivator's forehead, annihilating his spiritual soul.

The cultivator looked at Lin Yu in disbelief—he'd expected to live after confessing, but Lin Yu had slain him without a second thought.

"Lord Cauldron, let's check out the valley he mentioned." Lin Yu summoned the Divine Devouring Cauldron, letting it devour the demon cultivator. Though the cultivation was low, it shouldn't be wasted.

"Demon cultivators gathering! I hear the Netherworld Cult has several Void Transformation Realm warriors. Kid, we're in for a big haul—let's wipe them all out!" Lord Cauldron was even more excited than Lin Yu, eager to devour all the cultists.

As Lin Yu headed for the valley where the blood sacrifice was planned, Chu Chu and the Seventh Princess were resting in another valley with warriors from the Great Han Royal Family.

Since entering Spirit Mountain, they'd stuck together, seeking opportunities and reaping rich rewards: rare spiritual herbs, immortal fruits, and even a Mystic Ice Meteor Iron Chu Chu found in a cave.

Once forged into a sword after leaving Spirit Mountain, it would become a Void Transformation Realm treasure. With it, even at Purple Mansion Realm, she could fight Myriad Manifestation Realm warriors—and 秒杀 (instantly kill) peers.

But Spirit Mountain held dangers too. They'd survived demon beast ambushes and attacks from other warriors, thanks to Chu Chu and the Seventh Princess's strength.

Now, smoke rose from a campfire where royal warriors grilled demon beasts. Chu Chu and the Seventh Princess inventoried their gains.

"Chu Chu, eat the spiritual herbs and fruits if they help you. You're our strongest now—upgrading your power helps us find more treasures." The Seventh Princess 劝说 (persuaded) gently, hoping Chu Chu would be less selfless.

Chu Chu raised her Sumeru Ring with a smile. "Everyone trusts me to keep these. How can I embezzle them? The Mystic Ice Meteor Iron is enough. Divide the rest when we leave."

"I wonder where Third Brother is. With his skills, he must have found tons of treasures." The Seventh Princess sighed at the mention of Lin Yu. "If only he were here—we'd have nothing to fear."

"Auntie, Third Uncle is much stronger than us. He's better off alone—we'd just hold him back." Chu Chu smiled; she didn't want to be a burden.

Suddenly, Chu Chu's face changed. She looked up the valley.

"What's wrong?" The Seventh Princess stood to scan the area but saw nothing amiss.

Chu Chu's expression turned grave. "Who's there? Come out!" She rested her hand on her sword, ready to strike.

The others rose, following her gaze, but saw no threat.

"Hehe! Not bad—this little miss has talent. I'll keep her as my chamber maid." A 嚣张 (arrogant) voice rang out from above the valley.

Several black figures appeared, cloaked and unidentifiable, each exuding devil qi—clearly no good.

"Who are you? We're from the Great Han Royal Family! Think carefully—attacking us is easy, but can you face Third Uncle's revenge?" Chu Chu's tone was grave, invoking Lin Yu's name.

The figures radiated immense power—at least Myriad Manifestation Realm Level 1. The black-robed elder who'd spoken, a Myriad Manifestation Realm Level 7, was far beyond their capability.
