3302 Overestimating Yourself!

Liu Yiran looked a bit dazed, still processing what Qiao Mu had just said.

The amount of information in those words was simply too much.

Did it mean that the Crown Prince was utterly devoted and obedient to this eccentric person in front of her? Wherever she wanted to go, the Crown Prince would follow her?

Since when did women's status on the Divine Continent become so high?

Liu Yiran followed closely behind Qiao Mu. As they turned from the corridor into the main hall, she caught sight of two maids carrying buckets, bending over to wipe down the handrails.

Liu Yiran's eyes shifted slightly. She quickly stepped forward, pushing away her maid's hand that rushed to stop her.

She suddenly kicked the water bucket.

The bucket, along with a torrent of water, splashed straight towards the back of Qiao Mu's head.

Qiao Mu didn't even turn her head; she simply raised her small hand slightly.

A large, transparent droplet of water suddenly emerged from above her head.

The water droplet suddenly grew tiny hands and feet, its eyes snapped open, and before Liu Yiran could react, it launched a punch at the incoming stream of water.

"Boom!" The bucket, along with the gushing water, splashed back in its entirety.

The wooden bucket even clanged, landing squarely on Liu Yiran's head, startling her into a furious cry.

Overestimating herself!

Qiao Mu didn't even spare her a glance, stepping past her from the corridor and walking directly into the main hall, entering slowly.

Liu Yiran's muffled sobs behind her had long been forgotten.

She saw many exquisite pastries on the table, as well as congee, noodles, and other breakfast foods.

Upon seeing her enter, Prince Kang's Consort smiled and waved her over. "Qiaoqiao, come quickly, breakfast is ready. Eat it while it's hot."

Qiao Mu took small steps and sat down at the table. "Imperial Aunt, I ran into Liu Yiran on the way just now."

The little one, a master of preemptive accusations, rolled her eyes and said, "She kicked over a wooden bucket to try and make me look foolish, but she ended up having a terrible misfortune herself."

No sooner had she finished speaking than Prince Kang's Consort, still in a daze, heard Liu Yiran's sharp cries and angry shouts from outside the main hall, "Qiao Mu!"

Liu Yiran, soaking wet and disheveled, rushed in, her eyes fixed on Qiao Mu as she shrieked, "You, you! How dare you do this to me!"

"Mother!" Liu Yiran turned to Prince Kang's Consort, sobbing, "Qiao Mu, she..."

"Silence." Prince Kang's Consort frowned, interrupting her displeasure. "Why are you calling the Crown Princess by her given name? Where have all your manners gone?"

"In the future, don't get too close to the Xiong family."

"That girl from the Xiong family isn't any good either," Prince Kang's Consort said coldly. "You've picked up all sorts of commoner habits; your words and actions are utterly vulgar."

Liu Yiran looked at Prince Kang's Consort, feeling a chill in her heart.

The Consort used to be somewhat amiable towards her, but ever since this Crown Princess became a point of comparison, she disliked Liu Yiran more and more.

This, this was all because of that damn Crown Princess.

The little Crown Princess looked back at Liu Yiran, snorted, and said, "Next time, pay more attention when you walk. Don't go around kicking water buckets for no reason. Water buckets don't have eyes; they might just backfire on their owner. Wouldn't that be a loss?"

"You, you." Liu Yiran pointed a finger at Qiao Mu, crying out repeatedly, "You, you're going too far!"

Prince Kang's Consort understood completely now that Liu Yiran had brought this misfortune upon herself.
