Chapter 4241: Qiao Lotus Star
Qiao Mu looked up, a curious expression on her face, "Does your father mean for us to go?"
Mo Lian nodded slightly.
The journey to Forgetfulness Sea was inevitable; both of them knew that perfectly well. It simply depended on how they would go.
"Do you think the matter of Li Sha Island is reliable?" Qiao Mu remained silent for a moment, then lifted her small face, looking at Mo Lian curiously.
"The establishment of the Heavenly Destiny Slaying Battle Group should be reliable," Mo Lian said, rubbing his forehead helplessly as he uttered the three words "Heavenly Destiny Slaying."
"The severity of the Heavenly Destiny's rampage in coastal villages is far worse than what we see here," Mo Lian said, holding the little poker-face and walking to a seat. "Comparatively, the situation in Forgetfulness Sea will be more tense."
"Isn't it suspicious that the Dragon clan of Forgetfulness Sea maliciously detained the Imperial Advisor?"
Mo Lian brushed a strand of hair from her cheek. "Long Hui's explanation to Father Emperor was that the Imperial Advisor, for some unknown reason, trespassed into their sacred land and was subsequently apprehended."
"The entire incident, he claims, has nothing to do with our Shenzhou; it's merely a personal grudge between the Imperial Advisor and Forgetfulness Sea."
"Then why did the Imperial Advisor send a message saying the Dragon clan of Forgetfulness Sea was using him to threaten me into going?"
"That... Long Hui's explanation for that was also that the Imperial Advisor was arbitrarily fabricating stories."
Qiao Mu scoffed, then nodded. "Let's just assume his explanation holds up."
Mo Lian chuckled, rubbing her head. "Perhaps they realized that threatening us with the Imperial Advisor was completely useless?"
They probably never imagined that these two had always been accustomed to acting arbitrarily and impulsively, and certainly wouldn't rush to rescue the Imperial Advisor over his life or death.
"Brains full of holes," Qiao Mu scornfully pouted her small lips, nudging her head against Crown Prince Mo's chest. "If we must go, we go. I've never been to Forgetfulness Sea, and I don't know what Mother's birthplace looks like."
Mo Lian held her, lowering his head, his eyes gently fixed on her. "Mm, Long Hui just now used Mother-in-law's memento to tempt me."
"He said that the land of Forgetfulness Sea is where Mother-in-law grew up from childhood, and traces of her growth can be seen everywhere. Mother-in-law also left many mementos in Forgetfulness Sea."
"I've already agreed to him," he said softly, stroking his wife's head. "I don't want you to have any regrets."
Qiao Mu's eyes flickered slightly. She tilted her head and tugged his sleeve. "Alright."
It wasn't as if she was afraid of the Dragon clan of Forgetfulness Sea and dared not go. Just as Qiaoqiao's Lotus said, if they go, they go to refine their prized Pond Lotus Sacred Realm and leave those with ulterior motives nowhere to cry.
Mo Lian chuckled, nuzzling her fair forehead, and whispered, "Qiaoqiao, if we refine the Pond Lotus Sacred Realm later, what kind of star should we call it?"
"Qiaoqiao's Lotus Star," the little poker-face said with a serious expression, reaching up to embrace his neck. "Let's plant more colorful lotus flowers, and then we'll move in and live there for a while."
Mo Lian couldn't help but laugh aloud, nodding repeatedly. "Alright, then we'll call it Qiao Lotus Star."
Her Royal Highness Qiao's eyes lit up, and she nodded in strong agreement.
These two were already longing for the Pond Lotus Sacred Realm. At this point, it was barely even a glimmer of an idea, yet the two troublemakers had already claimed the Pond Lotus Sacred Realm as their own and even named it in advance...
Everything was ready; all that was left was to embark on the journey.
After the two finished their discussion, the little poker-face took out a handful of spiritual root refining pills from her pocket.
"That Golden Lotus was quite effective," she said. She had poked the small treasured beast a dozen times earlier, and it had spat out a handful of them.
