Chapter 4596: 5.0348 Don't Panic
Once on the ship, everyone realized just how vast its interior space truly was.
All were deeply shaken and amazed.
Gathered on the spacious main deck, the soldiers from the three states looked eagerly towards the front, their eyes shining.
"Could this be a saint artifact?" Yale muttered to himself, his eyes scanning left and right, feeling as if he could never take it all in.
This little stoic is truly too extravagant, casually pulling out a saint artifact.
No wonder she always looks so confident and self-assured.
Any other person who could just pull out a saint artifact like that would also have such confidence, wouldn't they?
"Rooms have been prepared for you. Rest at your leisure. When we approach the base, someone will call you out in advance."
"There's nothing else. Do you four—Duan Yue, Min Yas, Rong Qing, and Long Hui—have anything else to say?" Qiao Mu looked at them.
All four shook their heads.
Long Xiangyun yawned, raising a hand. "I'm going back to my room to sleep first."
She was already familiar with the Crimson Cloud Canglang and could find her previously occupied room on her own.
With the Crimson Cloud Canglang sailing, there were no issues with speed or defense.
Anyway, she just needed to sleep, and by the time she opened her eyes, they would essentially be near their destination.
"How is it?" Qiao Mu turned to look at Duan Yue.
He was looking at a communication jade talisman in his hand. After quickly scanning it, he handed the talisman to Qiao Mu. "The nearest stronghold should be a small coastal fishing village, about a day's journey from here."
Qiao Mu nodded. "At the Crimson Cloud Canglang's speed, it should only take about half a day."
"We should arrive at our destination by tomorrow dawn."
"Good," Duan Yue nodded with a smile. "Qiao Qiao, you've probably spoken enough for several months today. You must be very tired. Go get some rest."
Qiao Mu raised a hand to stroke her small face, nodding solemnly. "You're absolutely right. See you tomorrow, then."
Duan Yue chuckled softly. "Go on."
The Next Morning
Early the next morning, Fairy Huang He, who was staying in a guest cabin on the third floor, frantically knocked on Qiao Mu's door.
Qiao Mu was washing up. Hearing the urgent knocking, she wiped her face while walking towards the door.
As soon as the door opened, Fairy Huang He burst in, followed by a grinning Qi Xuanxuan.
"Oh my god, oh my god! Qiao Qiao, do you know what happened last night?"
"I went to the deck this morning and saw groups of corpse fish piled up by the side of the ship, with many severed hands and feet among them!"
"While we were sound asleep last night, the large ship was attacked by corpse fish and underwater puppets!!"
"And are we alright?" Qiao Mu glanced at her and asked.
"Yes, we're fine," Fairy Huang He was momentarily stunned.
She looked up and saw Qiao Mu wringing out her face towel and hanging it aside, then calmly said, "Time for breakfast!"
Qi Xuanxuan couldn't help but chuckle, patting Huang He's shoulder. "Those corpse fish couldn't break through the Crimson Cloud Canglang's defenses at all."
Huang He, bewildered, followed the little stoic downstairs. "Qiao Qiao, did you know something like this would happen?"
"With so many living beings' auras on the ship, to the corpse fish and corpse puppets underwater, it's practically a perfect, sumptuous meal."
"It was bound to be attacked," Qi Xuanxuan said, patting her hand. "Don't worry, the Crimson Cloud Canglang is much more powerful than you or I imagine."
