Chapter 4803: No Zuo No Die
Yang Fengyan fell before the two young masters of the Qin Estate, crying and wailing, "It's Qiao Mu who harmed me! These corpse fish, she summoned them all!"
"Kill her." Qiao Mu couldn't be bothered with Yang Fengyan's nonsense and directly issued an order.
A white light suddenly shot out from her wrist. The little white snake transformed into a giant serpent in mid-air, swooping down and striking at Yang Fengyan's body.
"Don't hit her, she's about to turn into a corpse!" Qiao Mu frowned, quickly warning, "Don't touch her, she stinks too much."
The Vast Void Giant Serpent's enormous body stiffened in mid-air, then its tail lashed out at the railing nearby.
Half of the railing flew up and smashed fiercely towards Yang Fengyan's head.
Yang Fengyan immediately let out a string of terrified screams, scrambling and rolling towards the back of First Young Master Qin.
However, before she could crawl behind him, the half-railing struck her on the head.
The heavy blow instantly knocked her down, and she fell forward onto the deck, spitting out a mouthful of blood with a "puff."
The Vast Void Giant Serpent retracted its massive body, hissed at her, and exhaled a thick cloud of black mist.
Everyone watched as the black mist, like thin black snakes, coiled around Yang Fengyan.
In just a few moments, Yang Fengyan was enveloped by the black netherworld power.
First Young Master Qin opened his mouth, then swallowed the words he intended to say.
Second Young Master Qin, however, showed little shock. He merely glanced at Yang Fengyan faintly before retracting his gaze. "What did she do?"
He knew this little stoic too well.
Unless she was truly provoked, she wouldn't kill in anger.
It must be that Yang Fengyan did something that crossed the little stoic's hidden bottom line.
"She tried to kill me," Qiao Mu said coldly, then left the deck without looking back.
There was no need to wait for the outcome; Yang Fengyan, enveloped by netherworld power, had no escape from death.
Who knew what disgusting concoction Yang Fengyan had used to gather the corpse fish?
It was touted as fishing, but in reality, she intended to ambush Qiao Mu in the chaos, only to... reap what she sowed.
She either had too much confidence in herself or underestimated Qiao Mu too much.
Qiao Mu did not come out for dinner, instead eating a little casually in the cabin.
Second Qin had arrived, and Qiao Mu couldn't help but frown in bed.
Although their destination was the same—the Lotus Pond Sacred Realm—
...she truly didn't want to travel with the Qin Estate people.
"It seems I'll have to find a way to leave tomorrow," the little stoic instinctively stroked her lower abdomen.
—Separation Line of the Peach Blossom Immortal Venerable of the Undersea Abyss—
When Duan Yue awoke with a start, the sky had already completely darkened.
Outside the camp tent, a violent storm raged.
Cold wind seeped in from outside the tent, making the candle flicker wildly.
"What time is it?"
"It's almost the third watch, Your Majesty." Little Kezi quickly pulled the tent flap further in and hurried forward, quietly reminding him, "There's still one more hour."
Duan Yue, however, was wide awake. His pair of obsidian-like peach blossom eyes fixed on the flickering candlelight. He pushed aside the brocade quilt and sat up.
These past two days, he had felt restless. The people he sent to Wangchuan to gather information hadn't returned, and he hadn't received any news yet.
He hoped he was just overthinking things.
"Get ready," Duan Yue pursed his lips, put on his robe, and stood up, his long, dark hair loosely falling to his waist.
Little Kezi nodded and reached out to lift the tent flap.
