Chapter 4820: Probing

Before the envoy could react, a crisp "crack" sound was heard.

All the envoys showed looks of astonishment, their faces filled with horror as they gazed at the expressionless Emperor of Cangzhou.

Lili'er's neck hung limp in Duan Yue's hand, her beautiful face still bearing a bewildered look, as if she hadn't quite grasped what had happened.

He! He actually strangled Lili'er without a word?

This man, when he strangled Lili'er's neck, did not hesitate at all, as if...

As if what he was slaughtering at this moment was merely a pig, cow, sheep, or chicken!

Looking at the Emperor of Cangzhou's indifferent and piercing gaze, the several envoys shivered, a great fear flashing in their eyes.

The leader of the envoy team forced down his indignant emotions and said with a cold face, "If Your Majesty doesn't wish to cooperate with us, there was no need to kill Lili'er! You could have simply said you didn't want to cooperate."

Duan Yue sneered as he looked at him, then tossed aside the woman's corpse with its dangling head.

He took out a handkerchief from his inner realm and meticulously wiped his hands.

Duan Yue looked at them coldly, with no intention of offering any explanation.

"Handle them all."

As soon as the words fell, dozens of figures surged from all directions and, without a word, rushed towards the envoys, intent on killing them all.

The Duo Luo Kingdom's envoys were all greatly shocked and frantically tried to resist.

However, the shadow guards were too numerous; they simply couldn't cope with just a few of them.

Before half an incense stick burned, a hundred shadow guards had killed all the envoys.

Ying dragged the head of the envoy, pulling him before Duan Yue, and kicked the back of his knee.

The envoy leader cried out in pain, falling to the ground in terror, his head forcefully pressed down, performing a full prostration.

His head was being forcefully stepped on, and he struggled to lift his head to speak, trembling syllables escaping his mouth, "You, you all! Ca-Cangzhou Emperor, you, you! Ow."

"Let him speak," Duan Yue said coldly.

The few shadow guards immediately retracted their legs, respectfully bowed, and retreated a few steps to stand.

The head of the shadow guards coughed up blood and raised his head, his eyes fixed on Duan Yue. Before he could utter more than a few words, streams of fresh blood gushed from his mouth:

"You, you all!"

"If you don't cooperate with us, there are many, many others who would want to cooperate with us," the envoy leader's face revealed a strange smile, the smirk on his lips sending a chill down one's spine.

Duan Yue found him extremely displeasing. He personally raised a hand and waved it, and a surging sacred power slammed into the man's head.

"If you can't speak properly, then don't speak," Duan Yue said coldly, his gaze calmly watching the envoy fall heavily to the ground and not get up.

"Clean this up," Little Kezi hurriedly ordered the trembling servants, telling them to come in and clear the mess.

Duan Yue, however, suddenly turned around, paused, and narrowed his eyes, staring coldly at the fallen envoy leader.

He walked step by step towards him, approaching the envoy leader's side, his cold gaze fixed on the man's face, which was frozen in a fake smile.

Duan Yue suddenly raised his leg and kicked.

With a "bang," the envoy leader, to the astonishment of everyone, disintegrated into a shower of fragments, vanishing before their eyes.

Duan Yue's heart pounded heavily, and then he gave a stern command.
