Chapter 5364: Little Mo Baby Arrives

It was comical to say, but she actually felt almost no pain right now. At first, she thought she was just good at enduring pain, but then she realized there truly was no pain; her entire body felt perfectly fine. She didn't scream or cry hysterically like other expectant mothers. Lady Qiao Qiao was remarkably calm.

When the several experienced nannies and midwives rushed in one after another, they initially thought they had entered the wrong sleeping chamber. The Crown Princess was lying there quietly, her large, clear black and white eyes simply staring at them. She looked genuinely spirited.

A few midwives stepped forward to examine her, then nodded and quickly urged Crown Prince Mo to leave. Mo Lian initially procrastinated, lingering and unwilling to go out. He was then shouted at by the Empress, who had just arrived, and only then did he sheepishly scurry out.

Qiao Mu found it somewhat amusing. She felt nothing else, just that the two sentences her mother-in-law had just shouted at the Crown Prince sounded a bit funny.

"Look at your pale face; anyone would think you're the one giving birth!"

"Qiao Qiao isn't even reacting, but I see you're about to faint. Don't cause any more trouble here; quickly get out!"

The Crown Prince stumbled out, distraught, almost hitting his head on the doorframe. Wei Ziqin watched, both amused and pained, and quickly had someone help him to the side to rest.

To his surprise, no sooner had he stepped out of the sleeping chamber door than he heard a loud cry, almost tearing through the night sky.

Wei Ziqin and her husband, who had rushed over full of worry, along with Second Aunt Ren and Second Uncle's family, exchanged bewildered glances, then turned their faces towards the brightly lit sleeping chamber. Had they just imagined it? It sounded like a baby crying. But could giving birth be that fast?

The Crown Prince had just been chased out of the sleeping chamber and hadn't even calmed down, and already there was a baby's cry from inside? Hadn't the nannies just gone in less than a quarter of an hour ago...?

No matter how bewildered the people outside the hall were, they couldn't be more bewildered than those inside. The several midwives stood dumbfounded, momentarily stunned. It was the two personal nannies beside the Empress who reacted first, sternly shouting, "What are you still standing there for? Hurry up and do your jobs!"

Only then did the midwives and old nannies recover. Just as they were about to step forward to check, they were pushed back several steps by a strong halo of light, stumbling and falling to the ground with exclamations.

The Empress looked on with a shocked expression. She saw a faint halo of light floating around the baby, slowly retracting into its skin inch by inch. In less than a moment, a tiny, naked little thing was curled up there, randomly moving its limbs.

Qiao Mu personally cut the umbilical cord and picked up the restless little one. Expressionlessly, Lady Qiao Qiao turned the baby over, then blinked and looked at the Empress, who was standing beside her, stunned. "Mother, it's not a baby girl."

How could this be? Before birth, all signs had indicated it was a little foodie girl, especially resembling her husband.

The Empress was currently looking at her daughter-in-law with an expression fit for a deity. What her daughter-in-law had said earlier—"everything is fine" and "no problems at all"—was indeed not just casual reassurance for a group of worried mothers. Qiao Qiao's words were truly sincere and accurate, every single one of them.

And to see such a smooth birth, practically happening in minutes, it was indeed as good as it could possibly be.
