A mysterious and ancient gene that predates the current genetic system. Unlike normal core genes, the Spiral doesn't fuse with beasts, it rewrites the rules of evolution itself. Those who awaken it are considered dangerous anomalies... or potential kings.

At age 17, every citizen must undergo a trial. If compatible with a core beast, the subject is fused with a genome and becomes an Ascendant. If they fail, they're labeled Null and either discarded, sent to the bio-mines, or worse.

Genetically enhanced warriors fused with beast genomes. They serve in the military, protect the cities, and dominate society. Your gene rank determines your value.

One of the most powerful genetic corporations in the galaxy. They control the Gene Stones, conduct experiments on anomalies, and answer directly to one of the Seven Great Families.

Seven ancient ruling bloodlines who control different regions of the galaxy. Each family governs its domain with absolute power, often through a combination of military strength, political influence, and secret technologies.

When you kill certain beasts inside the Riftspire, you can convert them into cards that contain their skills, traits, or abilities. These can be absorbed or equipped by the user. Stronger beasts = rarer, more powerful cards.

A person whose genes cannot fuse with any core beast. Considered useless by society. Most Nulls are discarded, killed, or forced into brutal labor zones like bio-mines.
